With the launch of Season 3 for Modern Warfare 3 came the surprise of a secret blueprint Easter Egg on Warzone Rebirth Island! The return of Rebirth Island brought forth a New Easter Egg and blueprint unlock for Modern Warfare III Warzone! Today, we will tell you how to complete the Secret Redacted Blueprint Easter Egg in Rebirth Island using a step-by-step guide for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone! Here’s what you need to know:
HOW TO COMPLETE THE NEW REBIRTH QUEST
Similar to Fortunes Keep, the new Rebirth Easter Egg in Warzone Season 3 isn’t for the faint of heart, but IS more accessible than many of the Warzone 1 era quests were. The Easter Egg is broken down to three steps, which can be completed in any order BEFORE lifting the island lockdown.
Players can complete this Rebirth blueprint Easter Egg in any squad size, although partying up with friends is recommended, as running solo can be incredibly dangerous while attempting certain steps.
RESTORING THE POWER
Head over to the Factory point of interest until you come across a wooden crate located out of bounds. Shoot the crate which will release an ID badge that will fall just close enough to the player’s reach.
Thankfully, the infill plane typically drops players in a perfect position to land Factory towards the beginning or end of the drop path.
This building at Harbor is amongst one of the new areas added with the MW3 iteration of Rebirth Island. Some loot boxes can also be found downstairs.
Once at the Harbor, head up a flight of stairs where you can open a secret room using the ID badge. Players can then turn on the power located on the right side of the room, and can even claim a free UAV killstreak.
STABILIZING THE PRESSURE
This can be considered the most difficult part of the Easter Egg. Players need to go to the Chemical engineering building and find three numbers which are beneath three Russian symbols. For the sake of clarity, we’ll call the first symbol W, the next one Butterfly and the final one the letter A.
The first symbol can be found on the third floor and looks like the letter W, which is what we’ll continue calling it down below.
The second symbol is located on the fourth floor within a room on the right. We’ll call this symbol a butterfly. Again, the numbers will be DIFFERENT in every match you play.
Finally, the third symbol will be located towards the left side of the chemical engineering building, which we’ll refer to as the letter A. Don’t forget what these number and symbol combinations are!
Once all three numbers have been noted, head into a specific room to the left of the final symbol location where you’ll need to complete a small puzzle. Hit the red button to reset the water pressure which begins the puzzle.
The goal is to set each symbol on the water tanks with the numbers that correspond with them, which you found upstairs.
Three terminals can be interacted with in this room which will change the numbers on the water tanks:
- One terminal will change all three numbers at once (W)
- One terminal will change two numbers at once, the ones on each end (A and butterfly)
- One terminal will change just one number (A)
The easiest way to complete this step is to figure out which terminal changes all three numbers at once, and keep interacting with it until W is set to the correct number.
Next, interact with the terminal that changes two numbers at once until butterfly is set to the right number. Finally, interact with the last terminal until A is set to the correct number.
NOTE: The terminals will have different functions in each match. Use the water reset button in case a mistake is made, or if you’re doing trial and error to see which terminal changes what number.
Once complete, free durable gas masks will be rewarded to players, as well as a squad rage battle rage field upgrade.
DECRYPTING THE CODE
The easiest step of this Easter Egg involves players heading to the industry point of interest, where they’ll find a computer that has a series of percentages on it.
Players need to note what the numbers are from the greatest to least, and input all of those numbers in order on the touch pad just a few feet away.
After a player successfully inputs the code, one part of the secret vault will open, rewarding players with each of the four plate carrier types, as well as a munitions box.
LIFTING THE ISLAND LOCKDOWN
In the same vault where you decrypted the code is another locked portion which can only be opened after all three of the above steps have been completed. Three green lights will be visible once players successfully restore power, stabilize water pressure and decrypt the code.
Interact with the red button to lift the island lockdown, which will reward players an advanced UAV and the REDACTED blueprint for their efforts.
REDACTED BLUEPRINT UNLOCK
Completing the new Rebirth Island blueprint Easter Egg will unlock the REDACTED skin for the DG-56 assault rifle. The blueprint can be used in any mode across Modern Warfare 3, Warzone and Warzone Mobile.
Derived from classified Perseus documents last seen in Rebirth Reinforced (2022), Black Ops fans will dig the new Rebirth Island blueprint reward. The REDACTED blueprint comes with the following attachments:
- INTLAS CAS-14 Optic
- Commando Foregrip Underbarrel
- 40 Round Magazine
- Varanus Steady Grip
