NEW MW3 MARKETING REVEALS SLIDE CANCELLING AND MAKAROV RETURN
New marketing for Modern Warfare 3 has seemingly revealed that slide cancelling and Makarov are returning for Modern Warfare 3. In the new teasers sent out for MW3 marketing ahead of the MW3 reveal event in Warzone, we got our first tease for what’s coming to MW3. Here’s what you need to know:
Swagg, a content creator and streamer, recently got a package from Call of Duty teasing the unreleased MW3 title that’ll be officially revealed in MW2 soon! Inside the package was:
- Paint can w/ charger in it
- Bar of Soap w/ SIM card inside
- Sandal w/ phone battery
- Blanket w/ Nokia phone
This package also gave them a challenge they had to complete, after receiving a text from an “Unknown Caller”, over at Zaya Observatory (which is where the MW3 event will happen) and afterwards would get gifted subs as a reward!
This was also the message Swagg received after doing the challenge, teasing marketing THIS WEEK!
“You’ve shown your loyalty to the Unknown Caller
Good work today, operators”
As to why we believe slide cancelling will be returning, here’s what happens if you combine all the names for what Swagg received:
It could be a long shot, but everything aligns too well for it not to be meaning something. Especially considering how everything about this game has been rumored the way it has!
UNKNOWN CALLER IDENTITY
Who is this “Unknown Caller”? Well if rumors are to be believed, we think it’s Makarov. He hasn’t had a real presence yet and has had other operators do his dirty work for him in Al Mazrah, so maybe he’s now setting a plan in motion…
All we can tell you guys right now, is to keep your eyes peeled for more info. There is more announcements surely coming since the reveal is right around the corner…
