Modern Warfare 3 is getting it’s own take on Ranked Play in Season 1 Reloaded. MW3 Ranked Play for Multiplayer is confirmed to have a separate release date from the new Warzone Ranked Play, which will release for Urzikstan in 2024. MWIII Ranked Play will bring forth over a dozen rewards, including operator skins and additional unlocks. Here’s everything we know so far about the Modern Warfare III Ranked Play rewards and gameplay updates which release on January 17th:

WHEN DOES MW3 RANKED PLAY RELEASE
Currently, Treyarch is planning to release a new iteration of ranked play for Modern Warfare 3 during Season 1. While Ranked has been confirmed to be an “in season” update, it’s to be assumed that the mode will be bundled with the Season 1 Reloaded update, which release on January 17th, 2024.

The release date of MW3 ranked play will be separate from the new release of Warzone Ranked Play, which may not end up releasing until Season 2 or beyond. Treyarch confirmed that they will be providing more details about the future of Ranked Play in the coming weeks.
MW3 RANKED PLAY REWARDS & MILESTONES
According to dataminers, Ranked Play in Modern Warfare III will offer around 13 different rewards, ranging from calling cards, emblems, blueprints and more. The ranked mode for MW2 consistently offered a refresh at the start of each season, with new rewards and ranks to earn. Rewards are expected for reaching specific ranks, divisions and win milestones similar to MWII.

With upwards of 60+ rewards at launch of Ranked Play last year, players will once again be challenged to hit Gold, Crimson, Diamind, Iridescent, Platinum or Top 250. Unfortunately, players cannot earn all divisional rewards as they’ll only place in one division at the end of a season, but can still earn all rank or win milestone unlocks.

ForwardLeaks posted a video preview of various CDL calling cards and ranked milestone unlocks. This of course isn’t the FINAL set of rewards, as many won’t be revealed until the launch of Ranked Play on January 17th.
MW3 Divisional Rank Operator Skins
As expected, players will unlock an operator skin for the division they place in at the end of a season. It won’t be possible to unlock all operator skins, as you can only place in one division per season. An early preview of the Top 250, Iridescent, Diamond and Crimson skins were posted on Twitter by ForwardLeaks.

MW3 CDL Team Operator Skins
With the release of MW3 Ranked Play comes forth CDL team operator bundles which will end up costing upwards of $9.99. The CDL teams during the Modern Warfare 3 season include Optic Texas, Toronto Ultra, Vegas Legion, Atlanta Faze, Carolina Royal Ravens, Boston Breach, LA Guerrillas, Miami Heretics, Seattle Surge, NY Subliners and LA Thieves.

Users have reported that these skins have already begun to appear on the bots in MW3 private matches. Each team pack seemingly features four operator skins, a universal weapon camo and other cosmetics like calling cards, emblems and more.
