Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and zombies are set to be released on Friday, November 10th. Fans can begin downloading the data packs for MW3 Multiplayer and MW3 Zombies prior to the game’s launch, regardless of what platform they’re on. Here’s everything we know about the Modern Warfare III multiplayer and zombies downloads, start times and additional gameplay:
HOW TO PLAY MW3 MULTIPLAYER & ZOMBIES
Modern Warfare III (2023) is the new Call of Duty featuring a Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies mode. Fans that digitally pre ordered MW3 were able to play Campaign early beginning on November 2nd. Regardless of a pre order or which edition someone purchased, players can jump into MWIII Multiplayer and Zombies on November 10th.
Modern Warfare 3 is available through a standard edition ($69.00) on PC, a cross gen edition ($69.00) on Playstation and Xbox, or a vault edition on all platforms. ($99.99)

WHEN TO PRELOAD MW3 MULTIPLAYER & ZOMBIES
Activision confirmed that players can preload Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and zombies two days prior to launch. The exact file size has yet to be announced for the multiplayer and zombie datapacks, but expect further updates here on DETONATED. All of the preload times for MW3’s full launch are as follows:

MW3 MULTIPLAYER & ZOMBIE FILE SIZES (TBD)
According to Playstation Size, the file size of the MW3 Multiplayer datapack is around 18.5GB on PS4. The size should be in the same ballpark for PS5 and other platforms, but expect further updates soon. Zombie datapacks for Cold War and Vanguard ranged from 4GB to 7GB. With how grand MW3 Zombies is in scale, expect a slightly larger download for the open world experience.
