Modern Warfare 3 has been rumored to have a Zombies mode on release! Recently new stuff dedicated to the MW3 Zombies mode has come to light, and it coexists with previous rumors about MWIII Zombies. It’s rumored that Modern Warfare III Zombies will be heavily Outbreak focused. Here’s what you need to know:
MWII ZOMBIES ICONS FOUND
Early in MWII’s lifecycle; icons for Round Based and Outbreak Zombies were found in MWII’s files. Of course, we aren’t allowed to show this considering it was taken straight from the files…
This could’ve been planned content for the rumored DLC pack (that ended up being so big it became it’s own title) or cut content that never made it to launch.
TREYARCH JOB LISTING
Recently, Treyarch put up a job listing stating that they were working on a new iteration of “Warzone, Outbreak, and Round Based”.
Warzone could relate to a haunting event that’s yet to come out, or Ranked Play, Outbreak most likely revolves around MWIII and their next title in 2024, and Round Based most likely ONLY revolves around their 2024 release. It’s unlikely that MWIII will get Round Based this year considering what happened with Vanguard and it’s short dev cycle.

WHEN IS THE REVEAL?
If they follow the trend with Cold War, there will be a teaser at the end of the Reveal Trailer this Thursday August 17th, and then a full reveal for Zombies later on in the Fall!
Who knows, they could throw in more than one trailer at the Reveal Event! Stay tuned as always!
