Unexpectedly, the first gameplay for Modern Warfare 3 Zombies was revealed through a promotion for an upcoming Call of Duty collaboration. MW3 Zombies is set to be fully unveiled during COD NEXT on October 5th, followed by it’s full release on November 10th. This is everything we got to see in the new MWIII zombies gameplay.
Call of Duty Zombies Cereal Partnership
While this announcement may have been best saved for after COD NEXT, a collaboration between Off Limits cereal and Call of Duty Zombies got announced earlier this afternoon. Off Limits cereal was founded by Emily Elyse Miller and is available at select retailers such as target. In an instagram that was posted, a monkey bomb themed cereal box was revealed as part of a Call of Duty Zombies vanilla cereal promotion. During the reel, a few seconds of gameplay was showcased for the Modern Warfare 3 Zombies mode.
Early MW3 Zombies Gameplay
For a few seconds, fans were able to get a glimpse of the a zombie horde on the new Urzikstan Warzone map, which will also be used for the upcoming zombies mode. The gameplay also shows a player throwing a monkey bomb into the crowd, confirming the fact that classic gameplay features are set to return despite the absence of round based. It’s unclear if content creators will get to play Zombies at COD NEXT, but at the very least it’s confirmed that a full reveal of the mode is set to happen during the live streamed event.
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Collectors Box
Just last week, DETONATED reported that Walmart has listed a collectors box for Modern Warfare 3. The collectors box features a ton of Zombies memorabilia, as well as other items to celebrate 20 years of Call of Duty. Although we haven’t gotten a physical collectors bundle since the dark edition of Modern Warfare 2019, this collectors box is the closest we’ll likely get for awhile. Noticeably, the metallic poster features what could be our first look at a centipede type boss for MW3 zombies. Here’s everything included in the MW3 collectors box:
Additional MW3 Zombie Details Taken Down
A few years ago, Twitter user @RalphsValve was notorious for leaking extremely sensitive and specific information for Modern Warfare II (2022). While some reports did come true, a lot of later details were debunked, thus putting his credibility into question. Earlier today, Ralph put out a now deleted tweet in regards to MW3 Zombies and what is reportedly it’s “impressive gameplay”. Here’s a screenshot of his tweet:
