MODERN WARFARE 3 SEASON 3 RELOADED GAMEPLAY, CONTENT AND DOWNLOAD

MW3 & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded begins on May 1st, at 9am PT, 11am CT, 12pm EST. In-Game timers confirms Modern Warfare III Season 3 Reloaded begins early May for Multiplayer, Warzone and Zombies. Season 3 Reloaded for Warzone and MW3 will be a long awaited content drop, featuring a NEW Zombies map, more weapons, maps, operators, events, and more! RELEASE DATE & DOWNLOAD

Based off the in-game battle pass timer, Season 3 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone will begin on Wednesday, May 1st. The classified battlepass sector typically contains a new DLC weapon and various reward challenges, which to date has only been opened on the launch of a reloaded update.

Expect a preload to release for the mid season update around 24 hours before the launch of the new content. Reloaded updates are typically upwards of 10GB in size.

MULTIPLAYER CONTENT

As it stands, MW3 Season 3 Reloaded will feature two additional maps for Multiplayer, one of which is a repurposed section from Rebirth Island. Season 3 already kicked off with three original maps and one remake, marking one of the strongest content drops for Call of Duty Multiplayer.

GAMEMODES:

MINEFIELD: A variant of Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint. Mines will drop from dead players which cannot be picked up.

ESCORT: Payload from Warzone comes to Multiplayer as players must escort a MAW while facing off against enemies operators. Unlimited respawns are included in both rounds.

EQUIPMENT

New Tactical: EMD Mine

Proximity-triggered mine that sticks to surfaces. Once triggered, the mine shoots out tracker devices that reveal the enemy location and direction until removed.

New Field Upgrade: Enhanced Vision Goggles (EVG)

Toggle between normal vision and enhanced vision with integrated target highlighting. Has limited battery.

ZOMBIES CONTENT

It appears the content drop for Season 3 Reloaded of Zombies uses the same formula as Season 1 and Season 2 Reloaded.

This may be the last time we see an update of this nature until at least Season 5. Details about the future of MW3 Zombies’ fourth season will be reported on soon.

THE DARK AETHER:

The Dark Aether Story Act Continues: An unknown force of disturbing power has its psychic tendrils wrapped tightly around Dr. Ava Jansen. The doctor has been lured unto a new region of the Dark Aether under this malignant influence.

Enter the Third Rift: Face off against the entity and take on new challenges to unlock unique schematics.

NEW SCHEMATICS:

Players will be able to acquire permanent unlocks such as a special gas mask, dead wire detonators and a disguise just as we saw in DMZ.

Dead Wire Detonators (Schematic): Are you still shocked at the impressive electrical damage the Dead Wire Ammo Mod inflicts? Then you might want to employ the Dead Wire Detonator, and attach it to all your explosive weaponry, including Lethals and Launchers!
Golden Mask Filter (Schematic): A prized schematic with a shiny hue and an impressive, long-lasting effect — gain a self-regenerating gas mask for the rest of the match. This comes in extremely handy for surviving zombie strongholds and any surprises in the rifts.
Sergeant’s Beret (Schematic): Your outcomes no longer need to be terminal when dealing with Zakhaev’s hired guns; simply don the Sergeant’s Beret to disguise yourself among the Mercs, and summon a trusty Merc Bodyguard who shadows you to the end.

NEW WARLORD

Rainmaker, a defensive Warlord boss will now be on the map. Rainmaker will spawn at Shahin Manor and will she will have a heavily-trapped base, like a mortar strike and tripwires.

NEW WEAPONS AND EVENTS

We have two confirmed weapons and events coming with Season 2 Reloaded!

VORTEX: VI.RUS MAINFRAME EVENT & CALL OF DUTY ENDOWNMENT EVENT

Vortex: Vi.Rus Mainframe Event | Rewards: 12

It’s not a system error: Starting imminently, and running throughout the start of Season 3 Reloaded, Vi.Rus has made his way into the Vortex. Earn XP to unlock rewards. Equip the Bacillus skin from the Tracer Pack: Horsemen: Vi.Rus Ultra Skin for a boost.

Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.)

Look out for the in-game U Assist Veterans Challenge, arriving during the mid-season. The event kicks off May 8 and lasts through May 22 in support of the Call of Duty Endowment’s Military Appreciation Month celebrations. Stay tuned for more details on the in-game event and additional Military Appreciation Month announcements from C.O.D.E. to come on May 6.

CALL OF DUTY WARZONE MOBILE EVENT

Hit up the Golden Week-themed Yokai’s Elegance Keep for the chance to earn further folklore-themed rewards, including the Oni – Daimyo operator and Vaznev-9K – Yokai’s Elegance weapon blueprint!

Golden Plunder: Collect as much gold as you can by eliminating enemies, looting Supply Crates, and completing Contracts. When time runs out, the squad with the highest total wins. Unlimited respawns.

WARZONE CONTENT

Season 3 has offered one of the largest content offerings for Warzone to date, including a plethora of Rebirth Island features.

NEW GAME MODES AND PUBLIC EVENTS

MODE: REBIRTH RESURGENCE LOADED
- Resurgence on Rebirth, but when you die you change to one of your other loadouts. You will also spawn into the match with your favorite loadout.

MODE: REBIRTH LOCKDOWN
- The Lockdown mode from Vondel, but it’s now on Rebirth! Squads will need to capture hardpoints around the map.

QOL: REBIRTH INFIL STRIKES
- POIs in Rebirth (Lighthouse, Prison, Water Tower) are destroyed prior to infil meaning you’ll have to learn a new way to play Rebirth in this game mode.

PUBLIC EVENT: HEAVY ARMOR
- Prior to infil, there’s a chance this event will happen which gives every player an extra armor plate for the rest of the match. Stacks with Tempered Plate Carrier.

NEW EQUIPMENT

There will be new Equipment for players to try out in Season 3 of Warzone ONLY on Rebirth Island:

FIELD UPGRADE: UTILITY BOX
- Supply box that gives you both ammo and armor!

KILLSTREAK: FORESIGHT
- Killstreak you can either purchase from a Buy Station or pick up off the ground that allows you to see EVERY future gas circle!

PERK PACKAGE: SPECIALIST
- Gives you every applicable perk in Warzone and even stays after picking your loadout for the remainder of the match.

Perk Slots 1 and 2 (all Perks active): Battle Hardened, Double Time, E.O.D., Focus, Irradiated, Mechanic, Mountaineer, Scavenger, Shrapnel, Sleight of Hand, Spotter, Strong Arm.
Perk Slot 3 (all Perks active): Cold-Blooded, Escapist, Payout, Primed, Quick Fix, Resupply, Stalker, Survivor, Tempered, Tracker.
Perk Slot 4 (all Perks active): Birdseye, Combat Scout, Flex, Ghost, High Alert, Resolute, Shrouded.

Rebirth Island will have different times of day as Season 3 progresses. You could either play in bright midday, sunset, or a foggy atmosphere! According to the Blog, there will be unique items that spawn during these events to help squads out!

On Urzikstan ONLY, you and your squad can open bunkers and possibly earn more rewards by exploring such places. It’s possible we may get an Easter Egg similar to the “Bunker #11 Easter Egg” from Verdansk!
