There’s been a lot of talk about COD 2023 recently, like a confirmed title reveal of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” through a DMCA takedown. Today, Call of Duty on Twitter has officially announced there will be a reveal event in Season 5 of MW2! Here’s what’s buzzing in the community:
After a slew of images released showcasing MW3 in an Alpha state; Call of Duty decided to officially make a statement since the project is now no longer so secret.
This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has addressed this issue. When Vanguard (2021) got the same treatment before it was revealed, Call of Duty posted a tweet with one of the videos showcasing Vanguard before an official release!
This could be a trend with Sledgehammer titles since MW2 didn’t get this treatment. If so, I’m all for it.
And while there’s no real confirmation that Sledgehammer is the developer for MW3, they did retweet the tweet talking about MW2’s inventory migrating to MW3.
