Modern Warfare 3’s Campaign has been officially revealed after Gamescom showed footage of MW3’s Campaign! Modern Warfare III’s Campaign looks great so far! We also got more information on MWIII’s Campaign! Here’s what you need to know:
“OPERATION: 627” CAMPAIGN MISSION
We got our first look at the first mission in MW3’s Campaign titled “Operation: 627”:
The cutscene starts with a group of 3 soldiers getting ready to leave a submarine.
Once they leave the sub and surface, we are greeted with a shot of the infamous Prison POI from Verdansk! That’s right, Verdansk is back!
Another team parachutes in to help your team with extracting a prisoner.
No confirmation of who, but 627 was Captain Price’s prison number in the original MW2 (2009).
As the team stealths around, you get to a point where you call in “Charlie” and they create a distraction.
Once the distraction happens, you begin to open fire. Then you head into the underground area to further go into the Prison.
You repel down the Prison in the dark, fighting your way to a door where you use a C4 to open it.
The gameplay ends with the logo.
