How to Unlock the Spear in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone | Season 5 Reloaded

MW3 & Warzone Season 5 Reloaded begins on August 21st, at 9am PT, 11am CT, 12pm EST. Modern Warfare 3 Season 5 Reloaded is here and with it comes the new melee weapon, the Spear, and its unique ability to be thrown at other players! Today, we will go over how to get the Modern Warfare III Spear and provide you with alternatives to obtain the weapon. Ready to learn how to obtain MWIII’s newest weapon addition? Here’s what you need to know:

HOW TO UNLOCK THE SPEAR (EASY)

SPEAR (MELEE | MID-SEASON)

Last seen in Call of Duty Mobile and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies. Melee weapon that’s also throwable.

CLASSIFIED SECTOR UNLOCK

The Spear can be unlocked via the Classified Sector in the Season 5 Battle Pass! But once you’ve unlocked it, you’ll need to complete challenges for each item in the Classified Sector to unlock the Spear! Here’s each tier & their rewards:

WIN IT ALL – Large Decal
- GET 10 OPERATOR OR SPECIAL ZOMBIE MELEE KILLS
COINED CHAMPION – Emblem
- GET 3 OPERATOR OR SPECIAL ZOMBIE KILLS WITH THROWING KNIVES
1 HOUR DOUBLE XP TOKEN
- GET 3 OPERATOR MELEE BACKSTAB KILLS OR SPECIAL ZOMBIE KILLS
OVERTIME – Weapon Sticker
- GET 3 OPERATOR OR SPECIAL ZOMBIE KILLS WITH THE BUTT OF A GUN
SPEAR – (NEW) Melee Weapon
- YOU MUST FINISH ALL OTHER CHALLENGE TIERS
  - GET 5 OPERATOR OR SPECIAL ZOMBIE CROUCHED MELEE KILLS

New Spear Melee Weapon Introduced & unlocked in the Classified Battle Pass Sector of Modern Warfare 3 in Season 5 Reloaded. — (NEW) SPEAR MELEE WEAPON – MW3 CLASSIFIED BATTLE PASS SECTOR

Upon completion & unlocking the Spear, Blackcell owners will also unlock a special variant of the Spear. The Blackcell version of the Spear will be available for use!

New Blackcell Spear Melee Weapon Variant Introduced & unlocked in the Classified Battle Pass Sector of Modern Warfare 3 in Season 5 Reloaded. — (NEW) BLACKCELL SPEAR MELEE WEAPON – MW3 CLASSIFIED BATTLE PASS SECTOR

MODERN WARFARE ZOMBIES UNLOCK
- Just like previous seasons, you can have someone drop the Spear in Zombies, or get it from the Mystery Box, and exfil with it to immediately unlock it!

POST SEASON 5 UNLOCK
- After Season 5 ends, you can complete a challenge to unlock the Spear. Enable to see this challenge after Season 5 ends, you need to find the weapon in the Create-A-Class menu and hover over the Spear to see it’s unlock challenge! *It’s currently unknown what the challenge will be, so check back after Season 5!*
