With the return of OG Verdansk into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 3, the S.A.Squatch operator skin has made a resurgence in popularity here lately. Modern Warfare 2 (2022) had a promotional deal with ‘Jack Links’ Beef Jerky back in the day. This contained a variety of rewards, including the infamous ‘S.A.Squatch’ Operator skin that we’re going to go over today. Here’s all you need to know about the ‘Jack Links’ promo Call of Duty held years ago, & how you can obtain these rewards in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 3:
The S.A.Squatch of Verdansk Returns
Players may have overheard legends of a Sasquatch roaming the grounds of Verdansk here in 2025. Are the legends true? Maybe just paranoia? Urban Legends? Well, that’s not exactly true, let me explain.
If you’ve played Verdansk here recently, you may have spotted the popular S.A Squatch skin running around. Or better yet, you may not have seen it because it blends so well with the Verdansk terrain. This popular skin was part of a promotional deal with ‘Jack Links’ Beef Jerky back during the MW2 (2022) lifecycle. Originally seen in MW2 (2022) & Warzone, it was carried over into MW3 (2023) as well. With the return of Verdansk to Warzone in Season 3 of Black Ops 6, a new field of players will have a chance at spotting the infamous mythological skin.
As mentioned before, the S.A.Squatch skin was part of a promotional deal with Jack Links Beef Jerky. How it worked would be for every code you entered, you’d earn one of four rewards. Once you obtained & redeemed four codes, you’d have all four rewards. These four rewards you could earn included:
- Tactical Bigfoot
- Animated Emblem
- NVG Sasquatch
- Weapon Charm
- Bigfoot Bite
- Animated Calling Card
- S.A Sasquatch
- Operator Skin
These rewards were redeemed by purchasing specially marked bags of ‘Jack Links’ products & redeeming the codes through Call of Duty’s online redeem page. However, with the codes just being on stickers plastered on the bags, theft of these codes without purchasing the product was running rampant. It wouldn’t be a surprise to head into a Walmart to find every marked ‘Jack Links’ bag has codes stolen off of them.
Is the ‘Jack Links’ S.A.Squatch Operator Promotion Over?
The promo initially began on October 28th, 2022 & would run all the way through until October 31st, 2023. After the 31st, codes would be rendered void & could no longer be entered onto the website. How to Unlock S.A.Squatch Skin in Black Ops 6 Season 3
The only way to obtain any of these promotional items now, including the Operator Skin, is through the secondary market. It is worth remembering that secondary market sites & sellers could scam you. The secondary market is full of already used and/or expired codes that serve you no purpose. So, when browsing the secondary market for codes, remember, you’re purchasing at your own risk, and could lose any money you may spend to potential scams.
