HOW TO PLAY ROUND BASED ZOMBIES EARLY IN 2024
Zombies is a fan-favorite mode for many years. It’s popularity has ranged through the Black Ops and Modern Warfare series, and for many years fans have asked for a beta for Zombies to play early before the game ever releases. Recently, it was rumored that our requests may have been answered. It’s possible you’ll be able to play the next Black Ops title’s Zombies mode days or even WEEKS early! Here’s what you need to know:
BLACK OPS GULF WAR
The newest rumor from WindowsCentral on Twitter/X states that Treyarch’s next Call of Duty (COD 2024) will be a new Black Ops set during the Gulf War. Before, this was rumored last year, and according to WindowsCentral, this title will be called “Black Ops Gulf War”. Another mouthful, we know, but it’s straight to the point.
ZOMBIES EARLY ACCESS
WindowsCentral not only dropped a bombshell about the next Black Ops and it’s setting, but they’ve also stated that Activision is planning a HUGE pre-order bonus with Zombies to where players can play the gamemode not days, but WEEKS early!
This is a hugely requested idea from the fans that seems to possibly be coming true! Now, it’s good to know that right now there are two maps rumored to be coming to the next Black Ops:
- Huge City Map
- Island – Underground Prison Map
Both maps are said to be round based maps. If COD 2024 launches with two round based maps, and if Treyarch doesn’t want everything discovered before launch, they could release one of the maps weeks early instead of both just to keep some part of the mode fresh at launch.
GOBBLEGUMS RETURNING
It’s also been rumored that Gobblegums from Black Ops 3 are returning to COD 2024!
No word yet on how this will FULLY work; it could be a new Dr. Monty’s Factory type system, bundle drops, or all earned through gameplay. Either way, we’re excited!
