Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 is here and with it comes the possibility of getting a Ray Gun in Warzone! Modern Warfare III’s Season 2 is a Zombie themed event through and through, and with it comes a way to earn the infamous weapon and more in Warzone! Today, we’ll tell you how you can get your hands on the Ray Gun and more in MW3 Warzone’s Season 2! Here’s what you need to know:
ERADICATION CONTRACT
These weapons are ONLY obtainable in Fortune’s Keep! The first way you can earn a Ray Gun or another wonder weapon is by doing the new Eradication Contract in Fortune’s Keep. Around 4 spawn around the map and once you’ve picked it up, you have to find the corpse of a dead zombie, interact with it, then follow the footprints to an Aether Nest.
Shoot all the spores in the nest to spawn an HVT Zombie. Upon death, the HVT has a possibility to spawn a wonder weapon.
ROGUE SIGNAL PUBLIC EVENT
Randomly, during a game of Fortune’s Keep, the Rogue Signal Public Event will occur. When it does, players will be prompted to compete in a challenge for rewards such as money and the location of a secret stash!
The squads that are in the Top 2 will gain access to the location of the stash, however, every player can steal it if they find it.
Inside the stash is almost guaranteed to be a wonder weapon. Usually, it’s the Wunderwaffe which works like a Shock Stick and can either 2 hit down a player or one shot headshot!
SECRET LAB EASTER EGG
Finally, inside the Ground Zero PO on Fortune’s Keep will be a secret lab you can traverse. Players can also access this secret lab from underneath the Graveyard.
Hidden in the lab is a small doorway you can enter, labeled Sec B, which will bring players to a flooded room with electrical danger.
Once inside, you have to parkour your way to three switches which you have to flip within 10 seconds. The water below will be electrified before you flip the switches, so don’t jump in!
After you successfully flipped the switches, the water will de-electrify and you need to jump in and swim through a tunnel to enter a secret room.
In the secret room, you will be granted with loot as well as a high chance of finding a FREE Ray Gun on the table!
