HOW TO GET THE NEW SEASON 5 RELOADED EVENT CAMOS IN MODERN WARFARE 2 & WARZONE

Season 5 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 2 is just like every previous mid season update, as new earnable camos have been added to the MWII events tab. Players can unlock two universal camos for use in MW2 and Warzone, as well as an additional vehicle exclusive camo, plus more. Here’s how to unlock all new camos in the Faction Showdown challenge event for Season Five Reloaded.

Unlocking The Eddies Mastery Camo

The first earnable camo you can earn in Season 5 Reloaded is the Eddies camo which can be individually unlocked on every weapon class. Some challenges specify that you can kill enemies, meaning AI in Ground War or DMZ, while other challenges specifically say operators, meaning real people. All weapon challenges and a gameplay preview for the Eddies camo are as follows:

Assault Rifles – Get 250 Operator Kills With an Assault Rifle
Battle Rifles – Get 40 Operator Kills While Prone With a Battle Rifle
Marksman Rifles – Get 40 Operator Kills While Using a Suppressed Marksman
Launchers – Get 75 Enemy Kills Using Launchers
Light Machine Guns – Get 30 Operator Longshot Kills Using an LMG
Melee – Get 30 Enemy Kills Using Melee Weapons
Handguns – Get 50 Enemy Headshot Kills With a Handgun
Shotguns – Get 3 Operator Kills Without Dying 10 Times Using a Shotty
Submachine Guns – Get 100 Operator Headshot Kills With an SMG
Sniper Rifles – Get 50 Operator Headshot Kills With a Sniper Rifle

Unlocking The Eddies Supreme Mastery Camo

By having completed all weapon challenges for the initial Eddies camo, players will then get access to the Eddies Supreme mastery camo which isn’t animated, but does glow in the dark. This second mastery camo isn’t able to be previewed prior to unlocking, and won’t be obtainable once Season 5 ends the morning of September 27th. Event completionists will also unlock a mastery charm for finishing the mid season faction showdown.

Unlocking The Challenge Ride Vehicle Camo

For the first time in Call of Duty history, Season 5 Reloaded introduced a series of vehicle exclusive challenges that once completed, will unlock a universal camo for all vehicles in the game. Just like the initial camo event, some challenges specify that you can run over enemies, meaning AI in Ground War or DMZ, while other challenges specifically say operators, meaning real people. The series of vehicle challenges and a preview of the skin are as follows:

LTV – Get 30 Enemy Kills By Running Them Over With The Vehicle
Armored Truck (DMZ Only) – Ram 5 Enemy Vehicles At High Speed
ATV – Stay In The Air While in The Vehicle For 5 Seconds
Heavy Tank – Get 20 Operator Kills With Either Turret
Hatchback – Get 10 Operator Kills While Leaning Out of The Vehicle
Light Helo – Refuel Your Helicopter At 10 Different Gas Stations
PWC – Visit 5 POIs While Driving The Vehicle
Armored Patrol Boat – Get 20 Enemy Kills Using The Boat Turrets
Dirt Bike – Perform 20 Air Tricks With The Dirt Bike
MRAP – Get 30 Operator Kills Using The Turrets On The MRAP

Unlocking 3 Additional Mastery Rewards

Unlike the weapon camo part of the event, the vehicle part only requires you to complete 6 of the 12 challenges to unlock mastery for Season 5 Reloaded’s Faction showdown. This is especially helpful for those who don’t own Modern Warfare 2 and cannot complete the vehicle challenges that require them to play Ground War, as certain vehicles are not available in Warzone or DMZ. The 3 bonus rewards include a BAS-P blueprint, loading screen and an animated emblem.
