How to find Weapon Manuals in DMZ for Modern Warfare 4. They appear on the Hajin map inside Military Containers and Safes located at Police Stations and Compounds. Exfil with them to permanently unlock weapons in the Forward Operating Base Gunsmith, allowing purchase and customization regardless of your Global or DMZ Level.
DMZ Early Access in Modern Warfare 4 began on October 20th, introducing players to many new progression systems, including the Forward Operating Base, DMZ Levels, and a New System in the Gunsmith: Weapon Manuals. Today we’ll be discussing how to find them fast:
What are Weapon Manuals in DMZ?
Weapon Manuals in DMZ unlock the ability to purchase and unlock Weapons in the Gunsmith, found in your Forward Operating Base. Regardless of your Global Player Level or DMZ Level, you will need to find Weapon Manuals for any specific Weapon you want to be able to customize in the Forward Operating Base, and purchase as anytime for Cash.
For Example, if you play Multiplayer and unlock a Weapon at Level 30, that same weapon will not be available in DMZ until you find it during Gameplay on Hajin. Exfil with the Weapon Manual, to unlock its weapon.
How To Find Weapon Manuals Fast in DMZ
Weapon Manuals in DMZ can be found when playing on Hajin, they cannot be obtained any other way. Luckily, it was revealed where they can be found often, which includes:
- Military Containers
- Safes
Military Containers can be found in numerous locations, but most commonly in Police Stations and Compounds. These locations are marked on the map with their respective icons; a Badge for a Police Station, and a Tent for a Compound, shown below:
Safes can be found in similar locations, but will require more force that simply opening a Military Container. Which can be found during objectives, or when looting in Hajin.
Extract with Weapon Manual in DMZ
Once you have found a Weapon Manual, you can choose to exfil immediately to unlock it permanently in the Gunsmith, add it to a Secure Slot in your backpack to keep looting, to ensure even if you die you’ll still be able to bring that Weapon Manual back to your Forward Operating Base in DMZ.
After returning to your FOB with the Weapon Manual, it will automatically be consumed and you will be able to purchase that weapon in the Gunsmith. There are a total of 28 Weapon Manuals to find on Hajin in DMZ, all unlocking a different Weapon in the Gunsmith.
