Modern Warfare 2’s Haunting Event is finally here, and with it comes 5 new bosses that can be defeated n Al Mazrah for Warzone and MW2! The Haunting Event for Modern Warfare II seems to be the BEST Haunting Event so far, and the amount of rewards you can earn is insane! MWII’s 6th and final season really pulled out all of the stops! Today, we are going to not only tell you where all of the new bosses are located in Warzone, but also how to defeat them! Here’s what you need to know:
“BLOODY MESS” SMG BLUEPRINT
If you defeat 5 objectives from The Haunting Event you will unlock the “Bloody Mess” BAS-P SMG Blueprint!
BUTCHER BOSS – ALTAIR OF LILITH
The Butcher Boss from Diablo 4 is findable at the Altair of Lilith that can spawn around the map in a random location! Locations can include:
- Al Mazrah City
- Zaya Observatory
- Cemetary
- Hydroelectric
Once you reach the Altair of Lilith, there will be a giant group of AI on the Altair pad that you will need to kill. You don’t have to kill the AI to start the rituals, but they will laser you if you don’t, so throw a grenade on the Altair pad and it should kill most of them!
After you’ve cleared the Altair pad, you must interact with one of the 5 Altairs to begin a ritual where you will need to stay in the area and kill the Zombies that spawn around you. There will be a progress bar on screen letting you know how long you have to wait.
Repeat this process until a pentagram forms fully on the pad and all Altairs are activated. You’ll know you did it correctly when a portal spawns in the center of the pad! You will then need to enter the portal, but make sure you have some loot with you, for you will now be in a boss fight arena.
Now that you’re in the arena, of which is Hell from Diablo 4, there will be a lot of Zombies that can trhow meat at you, and the Butcher boss! You just need to run around, heal, and kill the Butcher to win! There will be a health bar that pops up telling you how much health the Butcher has left! Once you kill the Butcher, you will unlock a transmog weapon for use in Diablo 4!
NOTE: Have someone watch the portal entrance, for other players can enter and kill you while in Hell.
THE GHOST TRAIN – AL MAZRAH TRAIN
The Ghost Train is the new version of the Al Mazrah Train that can only be accessed from vertain parts of the train! It’s fully reskinned with new effects, cosmetics, and sounds! There’s also a weapon case on the train!
Once you’ve entered the train, make your way through to the end. Be careful, there are mines, tripwires, and sentry guns waiting for you in the train cars! Once at the end, open the safe and grab the Train Heart. Finally, a portal will spawn and you will be able to teleport out of the train!
NOTE: Make sure you loot the boxes in the train for the Heat Resistant Keys so you can access all of the boxes at the end of the train! The keys can be used more than once, but can break, so grab as many as you can!
SWAMP CREATURE – MAWIZEH MARSHLANDS
In the Mawizeh Marshlands, you will find pods that are surrounding the area. You will need to loot the orange pods and NOT the green ones enable to find the Golden Tiara, that you will need to offer enable for the Event checkmark.
Once you find the Golden Tiara, take it to the middle island in the Marshlands and find the golden sigil on the ground. You then need to offer the tiara, and look around in the water for the Swamp Creature who you will now need to kill.
NOTE: Many Swamp Creatures will spawn, just kill as many as you can until the objective is complete!
UFO BOSS – AL MAZRAH WATER AREA
The UFO from Zombies In Spaceland makes it’s return! This is possibly one of the harder objectives to do since it takes the longest and is much easier to be third-partied in, so go in with a plan! You’ll know you’re in the right area when the water has an open hole revealing two shipwrecks with a giant orb above it!
You’ll need to shoot the orb; it will split off into 3 orbs and start attacking you. You will need to shoot all 3 orbs until they disappear. After you defeat the orbs, the UFO will spawn! You will need to shoot the UFO until it explodes. NOTE: The UFO will shoot back at you!
Once it’s completed, the UFO will drop an artifact that will fall somewhere in the area. You will need to run and pick up the orb and take it to the portal on the biggest ship.
NOTE: Make sure the area is clear before getting the orb because it will blur your vision!
PHARAOH BOSS – OASIS LOCATION
The ruins in the top left of Al Mazrah are now named “Oasis” and now house possessed AI enemies and the tomb of a Pharaoh! You will need to kill the possessed AIs and pick up the skulls they drop and take them to the Pharaoh’s tomb. NOTE: The skulls take up inventory spots and you will need a total of 10!
Once you have the right amount of skulls, you will need to place them in the Pharaoh’s tomb and he will begin to rise out of the tomb!
He will be super tanky, and if he damages you enough, will do a finisher on you, so keep your distance and keep shooting him!
NOTE: We recommend doing this in DMZ. Warzone teams will flood the tomb quickly, and the storm almost always takes that location early on!
