HOW PRESTIGE WORKS IN BLACK OPS 6
Returning in Black Ops 6, is the legendary classic prestige system from Call of Duty games before MW2019. After levelling up 55 times, you have the option to Prestige or stay at Level 55, with there being a total of 10 Prestiges. Upon entering a new Prestige, all weapons, lethals, tacticals, perks, scorestreaks and create-a-class loadouts are re-locked and you have to level up to 55 to earn all of these things again. However, after entering a new Prestige, you gain a “Permanent Unlock Token” allowing you to permanently unlock any of the above so they won’t be locked after prestiging anymore.
ALL PRESTIGE ICONS REVEALED
Revealed today is the different Prestige icons and what they’ll look like. Recently shown at COD NEXT is a look at what the prestige icons will look like in Black Ops 6, with each prestige representing a different Treyarch Studio’s Black Ops game. With Prestige 1 being from World at War.
After prestiging, you’ll lose the icon corresponding to the prestige level of course, but it’s likely you can change the prestige icon to anything you want after reaching Prestige Master. This could also hint at the return of the Prestige Shop from Black Ops Cold War.
PRESTIGE MASTER GRIND
After finishing Prestige 10 Level 55, you have the option to enter Prestige Master and grind an additional 1000 levels and earn a secret reward for finishing the Prestige Master journey. It’s currently unclear if the Prestige Shop will be returning or if there will be any extra Prestige level’s added in future seasons of Black Ops 6.
