With the ante seemingly only being upped with each Black Ops 6 Zombies boss fight added, it’s not a shock ‘Shattered Veil’s final boss battle in BO6 Zombies delivers on this trend. Utilizing an array of weapons & methods, including the Wonder Weapons on the map, players will be able to combat this challenging boss fight in its entirety. Today, we’ll discuss the best way to complete the boss fight in Season 3’s ‘Shattered Veil’ Zombies map:
How The Shattered Veil Boss Fight Works
Once the Boss Fight begins, be sure to target the glowing eyes as they’re a critical damage spot. Another critical spot to target will periodically be the abdomen. It will expose what appears to be its heart, which is a critical damage target. The final critical spot will be when the REX roars. The inside of the mouth has shown to be a critical spot for damage.
There is a plethora of dangers to watch out for once in the Boss Fight. Alongside the boss, you’ll have endless hordes of the undead trying to kill you. There are also toxic circles on the ground that will slow you down, damage you, & stint any healing you’re trying to do after the REX or Zombie attacks. Speaking of REX attacks, the REX has multiple attacks, from head on charges, bites, spewing out acid, tail whips, & spawning zombies/toxic zombies. It will also leap, similar to how the Guardian did in the Citadelle boss fight.
The Z-REX boss fight takes 3 separate phases. Each phase is triggered once enough damage is dealt to the boss. The Z-REX will leap up onto the cliffside & begin raining down Acid on the playing field. Be sure to avoid this as it causes massive damage. It is immune when up here, so focus on the Zombies, toxic circles, & not being hit by the acid rain it’s sending down. After a while, the REX will jump back down, & you can begin dealing damage again.
After draining the Z-REX down to 0% health, it will crumble back into the Skeleton it was resurrected from. Once this happens, the final cutscene will play, & you will have completed the ‘Shattered Veil’ Main Easter Egg Quest!

HOW TO START THE BOSS FIGHT
To start the Boss Fight, you’ll want to obtain all the Ray Gun Mark 2 Variants, as well as the 3 Ritual Items. Once all are acquired, head downstairs to the panel Infront of S.A.M. Interact with it & the opening dialogue/cutscene will begin to play.
