Activision is bringing back the Call of Duty NEXT event to reveal Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, Zombies and the next iteration of Warzone, as previously seen for Modern Warfare 2 last September. One of DETONATED’s owners, dkdynamite, will be in attendance at the event, providing premium coverage for all MW3 modes. Modern Warfare III is set to launch on November 10th, 2023.
Where to Watch COD NEXT 2023
Call of Duty NEXT officially begins on Thursday, October 6th at 9AM PT, 11am CT and 12pm EST. Just like last year with Modern Warfare 2, dozens of content creators will be live streaming their perspectives from the event, across their Youtube and Twitch channel, simultaneously with Call of Duty’s broadcast. During the stream, casters on stage will be presenting detailed information about launch this fall, as well as additional details leading into the beta which begins just a day later on October 7th. Here is a link to our COD NEXT livestream:
What to Expect At Call of Duty NEXT 2023
Activision have confirmed that COD NEXT 2023 is revealing even more than last year’s first iteration of the event. Fans can expect a full showcase of Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, the next Warzone map, Warzone Mobile’s global launch details and even Zombies. The multiplayer build that content creators get to play on is expected to be the same one for the beta which begins a day later. Warzone’s NEW map however, won’t be released globally until Season 1 of MWIII begins in early December, so expect drastic changes from the NEXT build to it’s official launch.
The cinematic cutscene for Zombies has already been revealed, so fans are expecting a gameplay trailer and for creators to get hands on with the mode while at NEXT. Warzone Mobile has a rumored global launch date of November 3rd, 2023. Ironically, Warzone Mobile was shown to the world for the first time during last year’s NEXT event, while certain regions have gotten limited access ever since.
Modern Warfare 3 Beta Details and Code Giveaways
Throughout the multiplayer panel for COD NEXT, additional details surrounding the content available during the beta is expected to be revealed, as we saw last year. Information surrounding beta rewards, gunsmith and map offerings during both weekends will be provided during the broadcast. Players who haven’t pre ordered MWIII may still have a chance at getting a free beta code, as creators attending COD NEXT may receive bonus codes to giveaways, as they did last year for Modern Warfare 2.
