Once the batch of Season 4 Weekly Challenges end, the next Seasons Weekly’s will launch. Along with the Weekly Challenges, let’s take a brief look at some of the other content coming in Season 5.
Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 5 General Content
Weapons
FG42 – Assault Rifle
With the new season of content coming, we’ll be seeing 4 new weapons added into players armories like the classic FG42 AR, & three new weapons including the Mammoth LMG, Mace Melee Weapon, & Gremlin SMG. Each with their own unique Prestige Attachments, & 3 different Prestige Level Camos per weapon.

There will also be several new weapon attachments added through the season. These can be unlocked through the Weekly Challenges throughout Season 5. These are the brand-new weapon attachments:
- JÄGER 45 Grid-Breaker Kit
- M34 Novaline Grand Comversion
- EAM IR-VIZ Reflex
- M15 Mod 0 AMR .50 Cal Kit
- RK-9 Calibrated Strike System
- Peacekeeper MK1 Gauss Accelerator

Operators
Spectre
There are two new Operators coming in Season 5 of Black Ops 7 & Warzone. One of these is the fan-favorite Spectre! First seen in Black Ops 3, Spectre is an unknown operator to those around them, striking with stealth & precision. Those who remember BO3 remember The Ripper blade you could use in Multiplayer, as well as Active Camo.

Cipher – BlackCell
The second Operator is the new BlackCell exclusive ‘Cipher’. Complete with 3 alternate Operator Skins, Cipher will be immediately unlocked upon purchase of Season 5’s BlackCell, along with a myriad of other content.

With the recent release of the Season 4 Outro Cinematic, it’s been confirmed that the narrative of the BO7 Story has reached its conclusion.
BlackCell
We’ll also see our next BlackCell release alongside the Battle Pass. Complete with BlackCell will be plenty of exclusive variations for Operator Skins & Weapon Blueprints. It’ll also feature the new BlackCell exclusive Operator ‘Cipher’, complete with challenges to earn alternate operator skins for him. If that wasn’t enough, there will be another BlackCell Mastery Camo track added.
Black Ops 7 Season 5 Multiplayer Content
Maps
Multiplayer will be receiving 3 maps on the launch of Season 5. One of these is brand new, while the other 2 have been long requested fan favorite maps from previous Black Ops entries.
Jubilee
Taking place within a rural Japanese Town, Jubilee offers many routes for flanking & for combat engagements. Players will have their hands full in the Pachinko Room, battling down Main Street, or even in the Royal Museums courtyard. Plenty of combat possibilities hide within Jubilee’s streets.

Dig
Returning from Black Ops 2 is the ever popular small map, Dig. This Archaeological Site sees new life with the enhanced BO7 movement system upping the game in terms of how the map is played. Ancient ruins of what once were now stand forgotten to time, as well as scaffolding & equipment no longer in use. The small & rectangular shape doesn’t give much breathing room, so keep on your feet.

Frequency
The classic BO4 map Frequency has returned, in full remastered glory. Operators will battle within the mountains of Hunan, positioned on a massive listening station. Proceed with caution on either of the outer edges of the map, as falling to your demise is a possibility, while also taking long range engagements with enemies. Or cut through the middle for absolute chaos & CQB battles.

Modes
Overdrive Domination
Overdrive & Domination come together to form a brand new chaotic mode. While capturing positions, maintaining your hold, & eliminating enemies, you can earn stars for your team. These stars are used to give combat advantages to your operator. Stars are given for the following elimination style:
- 1 Star for Basic Eliminations
- 2 Stars for Core Medal Eliminations
- 3 Stars for Distinguished Medal Eliminations
As stated before, while earning these stars, you’ll unlock combat advantages that are lost upon death or too long between actions. Here is each advantage you can earn:
- Earning 1 star will increase your perception to help locate your next elimination.
- Earning 3 stars will your increase movement speed, allowing you to reach the next elimination faster.
- Earning 6 stars will increase your weapon handling skill, providing aid in elimination of your next target. Earning all 6 stars will also trigger Overdrive.
Gauntlet Rush
Gauntlet Rush provides players with a nonstop, action packed mode where there’s no rest for the weary. Every 2 minutes, the game mode you’re playing will switch up, with these modes being:
- Team Deathmatch
- Kill Confirmed
- Hardpoint
- Domination
- Roulette
The map won’t change, only your objective in the seamless switch. Playing aggressive with eliminations & the objective will earn you Operator enhancements, which can include:
- Improved Headshot Damage
- Faster Movement Speed
- Faster Weapon Swap Speed
The gauge in the lower left hand side of your HUD will show your progress on earning the next enhancement. It will drop of you don’t get to the objective quick enough, fail to engage the next enemy, or perish in battle. Gain Stacks will drop periodically through the match (provide a major score boost), so be on the lookout for them.
