The 3rd Season Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 & Warzone releasing on April 2nd, 2026, at 9AM, 11AM CT, & 12PM EST. Players will have their appetites fed with loads of new content dropping. Every mode will have new additions to liven things up, from new maps, modes, weapons, & more, Season 3 of Black Ops 7 & Warzone will be action packed. Today, we’re going to go over all the new content coming out in BO7 & Warzone Season 3. Here’s what you need to know:
Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 3 General Content
Weapons
MK35 ISR – Assault Rifle
This full-auto AR has both moderate damage & handling, but maintains excellent accuracy. Clean iron sights, mixed with the low recoil & fast fire rate makes this one of the most efficient Assault Rifles BO7 has to offer. You’ll be able to unlock this AR through the Battle Pass as the Base Weapon, or through a Blueprint, & through the Armory once the season ends.
The Prestige Attachment you can unlock is the ‘19” MFS Nightfall Suppressed Barrel’, while the three Prestige Camos you can earn are:
- Heatmap
- Prestige 1
- Groovy
- Prestige 2
- Glitch – Animated
- Prestige 2 Level 250
VST – SMG
The VST is a lightweight SMG, perfect for mobility & solid handling. This SMG works perfect for CQB, but has its difficulties at range due to the recoil. It has the highest accuracy in terms of bullet spread. The VST can be unlocked as a Base Weapon or Blueprint in the Battle Pass, or through the armory once the season is over.
The Prestige Attachment you can unlock is the ‘ MFS 5.56 MINSAS Conversion’, while the three Prestige Camos you can earn are:
- Targeted
- Prestige 1
- Lattice
- Prestige 2
- Ravenous – Animated
- Prestige 2 Level 250
Strider 300 – Sniper
The Strider 300 is the latest sniper to hit the BO7 armory. This bolt-action sniper can down unarmored enemies with a shot from the chest & up. It has a faster rate of fire & better handling than other Snipers, but does also have lower damage. You can earn the Strider 309 through an event later in-season, or through the armory once Season 3 ends.
The Prestige Attachment you can unlock is the ‘MFS Ballast Guard Stabilizer’, while the three Prestige Camos you can earn are:
- Struct
- Prestige 1
- Pastel
- Prestige 2
- Vivid Wave – Animated
- Prestige 2 Level 250
1911 – Secondary Pistols
The iconic 1911 joins the lineup in BO7! The damage on the 1911 is the highest of any pistol in its class. While recoil can be a bit of a nuisance, the weapon recentered very quickly, allowing for follow up shots. However, at close range, this pistol is deadly. This classic weapon can be unlocked as a Weekly Challenge Reward, or through the armory once the season ends.
The Prestige Attachment you can unlock is the ‘MFS Overdrive Auto-Brake’, while the three Prestige Camos you can earn are:
- Essence
- Prestige 1
- Sour Watermelon
- Prestige 2
- Silver
- Prestige 2 Level 250
Weapon Attachments
VAS Convergence Foregrip
This underbarrel fore-grip will improve recoil stabilization & bullet deviation for overall better performance. You can unlock this attachment through the Battle Pass or armory once the season ends.
Shadow SK 12-Gauge Masterkey
This is a semi-auto shotgun underbarrel for the Shadow SK Sniper Rifle. Lethal at close range, but lowers the base weapons handling. Improved flinch resistance & vertical recoil. This attachment can be earned through the Weekly Challenges or the armory once Season 3 is over.
X9 Maverick Javelin Assembly
This assembly kit allows the X9 Maverick to shoot a high velocity spear projectile. This spear is lethal, & can impale & pierce enemies. This attachment can be earned through the Weekly Challenges or the armory once the Season ends.
Events
Survivors of Ash – ZM
Players will have to fight & survive multiple challenges in order to earn rewards. These rewards include Weapon Camos, a Weapon Blueprint, Emblem, & Weapon Charm.
The Lost Outpost – END, MP, ZM, WZ
The Lost Outpost serves as the next collection-based event. Players will need to complete trophies from fallen enemies to hit milestones. These milestones will lead to new rewards, including the Strider 300 Sniper, Southpaw Samuels Operator Skin, Weapon Camos, blueprints, & various other cosmetics.
Black Ops 7 Season 3 Multiplayer Content
Maps
Beacon
The snow coated Guild facility hosts a few different point of cover, including a Monitor Station, Housing Unit, & Storage Shed. Various crates also provide ambush points, as well as the center bridge leaning perfect for positioning against your foes.
Abyss
Players will be battling either atop or below the massive Submarine, giving way to multiple methods of engagements. Below leads to CQB battles while layers above are more favored to long-range fights. Rope ascenders will help aid in travel, & planning flanks or ambushes on your enemies.
Gridlock
The classic BO4 map has returned here in Black Ops 7. This freeway has been the victim of a Heist gone wrong, & left the Japanese city below in shambles. Overturned vehicles above & decimated building below, there are multiple vantage points & elevated views to surprise & eliminate your opponents. The streets are perfect for long-range battles as well.
Plaza
Not seen since Black Ops 2, the fan favorite map Plaza is back inside of BO7. The Colossus Resort hosts a variety of lanes for battle, multiple cover locations, & various vantage points. The Luna Nightclub, Red Bar, & various shops all can be accessed & used in combat. There’s also the ever popular staircase where most engagements will happen.
Mission: Trident
A new location is coming to Season 3’s 20v20 offerings. The ‘Old Arsenal’ POI from Avalon will be available in the 20v20 Skirmish mode. Rooftops provide perfect sniper points, ramped bridges, patrol boats available, & more await players in Mission: Trident.
Modes
Demolition
The classic mode ‘Demolition’ returns in Black Ops 7. One team will be equipped with a bomb to plant at either Site A or Site B. More time is added if the attacking team destroys a site. Team 2’s objective is to defend each bomb sure from attackers. If it’s a tie, it will come down to the first team that can plant & detonate a bomb.
Aim-High
The ‘Aim High’ returns from Black Ops 6 here in BO7. A variety of gamemodes are used in this playlist where headshots are the way to go. They instantly eliminate enemies, while any other shots to the body are minimal to non-existent damage. Your only priority is to go for headshots.
Snipers Only
Snipers rejoice as the Snipers Only mode is returning in Season 3. Secondaries, Field Upgrades, Scorestreaks, & Equipment are all restricted, leaving it up to you to destroy enemies with your favorite Sniper Rifle. This mode is not for the faint of heart, & for your controllers health.
Scorestreaks
Ion Core
For those who remember Firebreak’s Heatwave ability in BO4, it returns here in the form of the Ion Core. Using the Ion Core creates a mid-size range of enemy denial, utilizing radiation pulses to damage & eliminate foes. This radiation can go through walls, & can be used for defending points.
The overclock abilities include the ‘Plutonium Core’ which will increase the duration of the core’s usage, & ‘Chemical Catalyst which decreases the time between radiation pulses.

Maps/Modes
Ashwood Survival
The Civil-War era town will now have an exclusive section for Survival. Clean off the Power Pump in Rabbit Alley, & make your way towards other parts of the town to find the Pack-a-Punch, Perks, etc. If you want to earn rewards for playing this survival map, you’ll need to reach the following Round-Milestones:
- Round 10
- Klaus Der Toten – Animated Emblem & 1,000 XP
- Round 25
- Abomination Carcass – Weapon Charm & 2,500 XP
- Round 50
- Hidden Power – Gobblegum & 5,000 XP
Ashwood Cursed
The difficulty amps up in Ashwood with it relaxing in Cursed Mode. Rewards can be earned based on the relics you apply & the round you reach. Here is each reward & milestone:
- Round 25 w/ Tier 1 Relics
- Time Out – Gobblegum & 10,000 XP
- Round 50 w/ Tier 2 Relics
- Perkaholic – Gobblegum & 20,000 XP
- Round 75 w/ Tier 3 Relics
- Mannequin Turret – Weapon Charm & 30,000 XP
Paradox Junction Directed Mode
For those who’ve had some trouble completing the Paradox Junction Main Quest, Directed Mode is here to help. With round caps, & directions pointing you in the right way, the Main Quest becomes easier to figure out. For players who complete the Main Quest on Directed Mode, you’ll earn:
- Timeshatter – Bundergat Blueprint
- Paradox Junction Directed Mode Completion – Calling Card
- 5,000 XP
For those who haven’t completed the Main Quest yet, there’s still time to complete the Quest before Directed Mode launches for the Early Completion Calling Card.
Paradox Junction Starting Room
For those looking at a challenge, try the Starting Room in Paradox Junction. All doors are locked, leaving you with only the resources available. There is a small assortment of tools available in the starting room including:
- Mystery Box
- JÄGER 45 Wallbuy
- Ammo Cache
- Quick Revive
- Time Travel
- Random Perk Machine – Past Nuketown
- Loot Cysts
- Gobblegum Machine
- Arsenal
- Rampage Inducer
As for rewards you can earn, here are the rewards & milestones you need to reach:
- Round 10
- Gobblegum & 1,000 XP
- Round 25
- Calling Card & 2,500 XP
- Round 50
- Calling Card & 5,000 XP
Zombie Battle
Available on all 3 main Round Based maps, this mode puts you against three other players in a fight for survival. Locked into the starting areas of any map, players will have to out-survive their fellow allies, while not causing any damage themselves.
The last player standing claims victory. For player last alive, they can earn different whimsical Gobblegum rewards.

- Round 10
- Chance to earn 2 Whimsical Gobblegums
- Round 15
- 2 Guaranteed Whimsical Gobblegums
Scorestreaks
Ion Core
The Ion Core is coming to Black Ops 7 Zombies. Deploy the Ion Core to damage enemies in a large radius. The radiation pulses will go through walls, & is perfect to use during defense steps.
Black Ops 7 Season 3 Endgame Content
Loadout Updates
With the launch of Season 3, loadouts will be individually assigned to each individual operator. These are exclusive to each operator, with their own weapons, field acquisitions, & equipment. Scorestreaks & self revives acquired during games will be saved after exfils for next deployment. If you had a loadout prior to this change, you’ll maintain it for your next drop into Endgame.
Other various changes coming to Endgame will be the ability to reset both your Combat Rating & your Skill Track. While you’re able to reset your Combat Rating, it won’t affect your loadout or equipment.
Loss Rule Updates
With the ever-growing threats in Endgame, some changes are being made to the loss rules for operators. If wiped in Endgame, the total amount of Combat Rating lost is capped at 15. Players can only lose up to 15 Combat Rating per wipe. You will still fully lose Exotic & Nightmares Skills, as well as your loadout.
Restore Tokens
When you have a Restore Token, you’ll be able to use it & restore all of your lost progress. This includes Loadouts & Operator skills. There are multiple secret methods to unlocking these high value items, including:
Operation: Poison Pill
A new system is coming to Endgame in Season 3. Operations are based on a system of specific challenges, meant to be completed across several games. You’ll be able to earn rewards for every challenge you complete, all while leveling your operator up for the final fight.
Once you complete the final objective, you’ll gain access to the Link Forger Glitch Fracture. For those who are familiar with Glitch Fractures, they are no easy feat, so gear up. The Link Forger Glitch Fracture is no different, as you & your squad will battle ravenous waves of enemies in a Nightmare Difficulty Arena.
There are rewards you can earn based on the amount of ‘Override’ Skins you earn from completing the Glitch Fracture Boss. You’ll need to complete the Glitch Fracture Boss with either Mason, Grimm, or Anderson operators to earn the ‘Override’ skins. The rewards are as follows:
- Blighted – Weapon Camo
- Earn 1 ‘Override’ Skin
- Virulent – Animated Weapon Camo
- Earn All 3 ‘Override’ Skins
Operation: Poison Pill Rewards
There are 10 different rewards you can earn from completing the objectives in Operation: Poison Pill. The rewards include the following:
- Poison Pill – Weapon Charm & 1,000 XP
- Restore Token & 1,000 XP
- 1HR Double XP Token & 1,000 XP
- Node Husk – Emblem & 2,500 XP
- 1HR Double Battle Pass XP Token & 2,500 XP
- Toxic Entry – Emblem & 2,500 XP
- 1HR Double Weapon XP Token & 5,000 XP
- Thorned Muzzle – Loading Screen & 5,000 XP
- Looking Good! – Emote & 5,000 XP
- Venomous Override – AAROW 109 Launcher Weapon Blueprint, Fractal Death – Animated Calling Card, & 7,500 XP
New Skill Track & Abilities – Warband
The new Warband Skill Track will summon allies to aid you in battle. The following Skills are available in the Warband skill track:
- Plague
- Eliminated enemies have a chance to explode & turn nearby enemies into allies.
- Wirehand
- Eliminations can potentially spawn in an attack drone.
- Smuggler
- Chance to restore used equipment & Scorestreaks with immediate effect.
- Bloodrunner
- Rapid Multi-Kills will give additional damage. Will dissipate if momentum ends.
- Healthhounds
- Allies that are damaged or eliminated will restore a portion of your health.
- Steelhand – Special Ability
- Armor picked up will automatically be equipped.
Warband Abilities
There are a couple of abilities available through Warband. These are the ability to use the Aether Blade as a Minor Ability on Launch, or a powerful blast of flames through the Thermal Spike Major Ability later during the Mid-Season.
Warzone Season 3 Content
Launch Pad POI
The new Launch Pad POI is coming to Verdansk, along with the original big map. Multiple structures are scattered around the new POI, including the Control Tower, Hangar, Gantry, Depot, & Vats. Each of these sub-locations hold their own advantages, vantage points, loot caches, hazards, & secrets.
The Gantry & Hangar are connected via zip line, multiple levels are present within each building, Ascenders are available on the Hangar, while Descenders are present on the Gantry. Keep an eye out for the train within the Depot as well, as a hazard.
The Gulag in Avalon
For those dropping into Avalon in the core Battle Royale experience, the Gulag is returning for fallen operators to gain their spot back into the game. The Guild has constructed 3 new Gulag spaces for prisoners to fight their way out & back into Avalon. These new Gulags include:
- Server Room 04
- Cryo Lab 05
- Meeting Room 07
Map Rotation
Coming later in Season 3 of Warzone, the main maps will rotate, allowing players to battle on either Verdansk or Avalon. Verdansk will be available on launch of Season 3, & be rotated out later in-season.
Launch Squad – LTM
The Launch Squad LTM will be utilize the new Launch Pad POI as the hotspot for operator activity. Squads will race to the new POI to launch the Rocket in the Launch Pad. Your squad will need to collect Launch Codes, via eliminated enemies, or other methods. Once enough codes are collected, you’ll then need to survive as the most wanted until the game ends.
Picking up additional codes can reduce the time needed to survive. There are no Buy Stations, Redeploy Drones, or Cash in this LTM.
New Gameplay Additions
In-Match Event – Flashpoint
While in-game, a random location on the map will be targeted by the new Launch Pad POI inside of Verdansk. This targeting will launch multiple missiles to the area & eliminate any operators present around it. There will also be a damaging cloud that looms over the area & eventually dissipates.
Wall Jump & Grappling Hook
Wall Jumping & Grapple Hooks will become available for use in the core Battle Royale experience starting with the launch of Season 3 in Warzone.
Private Match Changes
There are multiple QOL changes coming to Warzone Private Matches. These changes will include:
- Scoreboard Updates
- Gamertag Obscuring
- Match Lobby Disbanding
- Code Functionality
