Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is slated to release later this year & we’ve just seen our first look at what appears to be a Closed Internal Playtest that’s taking place this weekend. Black Ops 7 will be a sequel to the fan favorite Black Ops 2. Let’s take a look at everything we’ve seen revealed through these new images & message posts. Here’s what you need to know:
The Parallax Dates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

From what we can tell, the Parallax Closed Internal Playtest dates will run this weekend (June 27th, June 28th, & June 29th). It’s also been stated the ‘core’ hours for the Playtest will be 12pm – 2pm & 6pm – 8pm. These will be the hours players can help test out new maps & modes for the upcoming Black Ops 7. But what new modes are there? Let’s take a look.
New Modes Coming to Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7
Here are some of the modes that have been revealed as part of the Closed Internal Playtest for players to sink their teeth into:
Skirmish [20v20] – New Mode

Two teams of 20 will compete against one another in a large scale map. The mission, complete objectives & score points. objectives for Skirmish include:
- Destroying Payloads
- Capture Points of Interest
- Transmitting Valuable Data
Players can also use their wings it’s to flank enemies & reach objectives before they do. The first team to reach the score limit will win!
Overload – New Mode

Two teams of 6 players must battle to gain control over a neutral EMP device. This device must be delivered into the enemies HQ in order to score points. Achieve victory by delivering the most EMP Devices into enemy territory.
OG Modes – TDM | Domination | Hardpoint
OG modes will be returning in BO7, such as the all-time classic Team Deathmatch, Domination, & Hardpoint. We’re likely to see other fan favorites return in Black Ops 7’s Multiplayer.
Parallax Day 1 Schedule
For Fridays schedule, it appears players will be able to hop in starting at 10AM PT, all the way through 8PM PT to engage with others in the exhilarating new entey. Starting at 10AM PT all the way through 6PM PT, players will have access to the Core Moshpit [TDM, Hardpoint, Domination, & Overload], as well as the new Overload mode by itself. Starting at 6PM PT, players will be able to test out the new Skirmish [20v20] Mode.

We can also get our first glimpses at new weapons within these images. As well as new operators/skins that will probably be available during the beta. In the background you can see a player using the returning Omni-movement feature. Front & center is what will likely be a new lethal scoresteak you can earn. Whether it will be a mid or higher tier scorestreak is to be revealed.
