Season 3 of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is set to begin rolling out on April 2nd at 9AM PT, 11AM CT, & 12PM EST. Season 3 of Warzone & the Return of Verdansk will release on April 3rd at 9AM PT, 11AM CT, 12PM EST. This is different to previous season releases, where all content releases at the same time, on the same day. We’re going to be breaking down the release roll-out schedule for Season 3, as well as the Warzone downtime, & more. Here’s what you need to know:
The 24-Hour Launch Sequence Begins
(Black Ops 6 MP & Zombies Content) April 2nd
On April 2nd 9:00AM PT, 11:00AM CT, & 12:00PM EST, the first batch of content for Season 3 drops. This content will include (Multiplayer Content, Zombies Content, BlackCell Content, Battle Pass Content, & all other general Black Ops 6 Content). All the listed content releases for premium Call of Duty players (those who own the game). After downloading the Warzone Season 3 files, the Kilo 141 weapon will also be available for your use.
- When this first batch of Season 3 content rolls out for Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Warzone will completely shut down. Warzone will be shut down for 24 hours, in order to prep for Verdansk’s return launch.
24 Free Trial
For players who may not own Black Ops 6, there will be a 24-hour free trial running alongside the release of Season 3. All the premium content releasing will be available for ALL players for this limited time. Alongside the new content, you’ll gain temporary access to every Multiplayer map, as well as every Zombies map, weapons, modes, etc. Once this free trial ends, you’ll need to purchase the game to continue playing Black Ops 6 to its’ full capacity.
(The Countdown Period) April 2nd – April 3rd
Starting on April 2nd at 9:01AM, the 24-hour ‘Countdown to Verdansk’ timer will begin. This countdown will run until 8:59AM PT, April 3rd. During this crucial time, you’ll want to level up your weapons & unlock those attachments you may have been putting off. Maybe reaching higher levels to unlock that weapon you’ve been wanting? The Kilo 141 will be available for free through the BO6 free trial, so maybe give it a test run. You could also work on Battle Pass pages & unlock the other 2 returning weapons (the HDR Sniper, & the AMAX AR).
(Warzone & Verdansk Content) April 3rd
On April 2nd 9:00AM PT, 11:00AM CT, & 12:00PM EST, Verdansk officially returns to Warzone. Verdansk, all its offerings, the ‘Return to Verdansk’ event, as well as all other general Warzone content will release 24 hours after the release of Black Ops 6’s Season 3 Content. At 9:00AM PT, the Warzone Lobby will reopen, & player’s will get to squad up to drop back into Verdansk after its 3+ year hiatus. You’ll also unlock your ‘Instant Unlock’ rewards, as well as ‘Veteran Player’ rewards. Get ready to feel the nostalgia rush through as you return to the original Warzone.
