Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 begins on April 3rd, 2025 at 9am PT, 11am CT, and 12pm ET. BO6 Season 3 is set to receive the Verdansk Map in Warzone, along with other throwback additions like Operators, Weapons, and More. Warzone will be getting its biggest update since Modern Warfare 3, since Black Ops 6 Season 2 focused on gameplay fixes over content in the Free-to-Play title. Today, we’re breaking down everything coming to Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 and when to play:
Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 Delay
Based on the In-Game Battlepass Timer, Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 was supposed to begin on Thursday, March 20th, 2025. Usually, these in-game timers are almost 100% correct as a delay would add more days to the battlepass in Black Ops 6. On March 3rd, Call of Duty officially announced a Season 3 is releasing on April 3rd, giving it a 2 week delay to “Deliver a Great Experience” on launch.
Verdansk Returns in Warzone Season 3
With the Season 2 Reloaded Update, leakers (@RealityUK_) found references to Verdansk returning in the files. As March 10th marks the 5 Year anniversary for Warzone, we can only assume Verdansk will make its big return with Warzone Season 3. Leakers also found references to a ‘Resurgence’ Mode coming to Verdansk in Warzone, which has fans excited to play the fast paced mode on the classic. Additionally, Verdansk was already confirmed to return in Spring 2025 by Activision themselves during COD Next in Late August last year.
New Operators Coming in Black Ops 6 Season 3
Also with the Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded Update, leakers (@HeyImAlaix) found references to 3 returning Operators coming to the game. Hudson, Roze, and Mace were leaked as a part of a batch of other codenamed Operators, which has fans super excited for the return of some classic Characters from the Warzone 1 Era of the game. Hudson is obviously dead by this time in the story, so his return will be just for fun alongside Mace and Roze (who were from Modern Warfare 2019), much like Soap returning in Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 for a minor throwback Season.
New Zombies Map coming in Black Ops 6 Season 3
Lastly, the Upcoming ‘Mansion’ DLC 3 Zombies Map in Black Ops 6 appears to be releasing with Season 3 launch. While its not unheard of that it gets saved for Black Ops 6 Season 3 Reloaded, Zombies fans are eagerly waiting for the next big Zombies drop as The Tomb left some unsatisfied. With this Map, leakers (@RealityUK_) found references to Frost Blast Field Upgrade, Shatter Blast Ammo Mod, Double-Tap Perk, and Tombstone Perks, some even with 6 Augments in the files already. Shatter Blast and Double-Tap have their 6 Augment names leaked already, which could mean we seen them release with the ‘Mansion’ in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
