BLACK OPS 6 OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED BY TREYARCH

Black Ops 6 has officially been revealed by Call of Duty! The next Treyarch title, now confirmed as Black Ops 6, will be the next Call of Duty! OFFICIAL REVEAL

Just under 24 hours after the marketing for Black Ops 6 was discovered via thetruthlies; Call of Duty’s official X/Twitter account have officially confirmed the logo and name for Call of Duty 2024: Black Ops 6!

XBOX REVEAL

While it was believed we would get a title reveal through the Xbox Reveal Event, or a possible in-game event in Warzone, Call of Duty have taken matters into their own hands.

As it can be seen in the above photo; the Cerberus logo from the Xbox Showcase image is the same as the reveal image for Black Ops 6! It was recently redacted, but it’s now official! What’s going to be shown at the event is most likely Campaign information and footage, but due to it being a “Direct” it could be an event similar to Black Ops 4.

THE TRUTH LIES

The slogan for Black Ops 6 “The Truth Lies” was marketed on May 23rd shortly before the MW3 Week 8 Challenges released for Season 3. With this we got a website that teased videos with posters and defacing of national monuments across the world. However, shortly after the website gained traction, started showing more than they should have…

BLACK OPS 6 RELEASE DATE

According to a new report from The Verge, the next Black Ops title from Treyarch is scheduled to release October 25th. Previous Call of Duty titles that released in October include Black Ops 4 (2018) and Modern Warfare (2019). Black Ops 4 got announced in March, followed by a global reveal in May of 2018.

The Wallstreet Journal just reported that Black Ops 6 is expected to launch Day 1 on Xbox Game Pass. Rumors suggest a refresh of current game pass tiers and possibly the addition of a new one to account for the Call of Duty integration. We covered this in a separate article which can be found here.
