One of the biggest Black Ops 6 mysteries to date has been whether or not Early Access will be available for Campaign or Zombies. With the recent conclusion of Weekend One for the Multiplayer BETA, fans have been wondering whether Black Ops 6’s Campaign will get the treatment from the last two years, offering fans up to a week of early access before launch. Rumors earlier this year even suggested early access to one Round Based map, which has been controversial to say the least.
WHEN COULD EARLY ACCESS CAMPAIGN BEGIN?
Since there have been no announcements regarding an Early Access for Black Ops 6’s campaign as of today, there’s no guaranteed or confirmed date. However, we can go by previous early access campaign dates from MWII and MWIII and assume BO6’s could take place at roughly the same time. With MWII’s early access campaign releasing on October 20th and MWIII’s on November 2nd, Black Ops 6’s could take place a few days before the 20th, somewhere around October 17th-18th – considering the full games release date being on October 25th.

EARLY ACCESS NOT HAPPENING ANYMORE?
It’s also possible campaign won’t be receiving the early access treatment this year like previous titles (MWII/MWIII), because of MWIII’s campaign last year. The campaign was review bombed last year and incredibly disliked among the COD community, which could impact Activision’s choice of them releasing the BO6 campaign a week early or not.
There also hasn’t been any news regarding early access campaign at all so far which could mean something, considering MWII and MWIII’s early campaign access were revealed 1-2 months before it launched. So far we have only received a few screenshots, clips, and part of a campaign mission from the recent Gamescom event a few weeks ago.

Nothing was mentioned at the COD NEXT broadcast which implied any form of Early Access apart from the two weekends of the Multiplayer BETA, which may have been the final nail in the coffin.
Another reason this may not be happening anymore is due to the COD BLOG’s covering of Black Ops 6 – it state’s that the campaign will be available on October 25th along with Multiplayer & Zombies.

ZOMBIES RECEIVING EARLY ACCESS TREATMENT INSTEAD?
With the possibility of Early Access Campaign not being available for Black Ops 6, it could mean Zombies will receive early access instead. This lines up with the recent leaks claiming Black Ops 6 could receive Early Access for Zombies up to TWO weeks earlier, instead of just one. It’s unclear if this leak is true, so remember to take everything with a grain of salt until officially confirmed by Activision/Treyarch themselves.
