The Haunting Event is in full swing with crossovers, events, & festivities. The next event on the list is the ‘Trick ‘R Treat: Candy Hunt’ Event. Crossing over with the cult classic Halloween movie “Trick ‘R Treat” released in 2007, ‘Sam’ steps onto the battlefield with his trusty broken lollipop. Here’s all you need to know regarding the Candy Hunt & its rewards:
EVENT TAB & REWARDS
The Candy Hunt will start on October 2 & last through October 16. As you play & get kills, you’ll collect candy to fill your bag & collect a variety of rewards. Some candy will be tricks, some will be treats. This event runs similarly to the ‘Horde Hunt’ or ‘Altered Strain’ events from previous seasons.
There are four different candy sectors under the ‘King Sized Treat Challenges’ umbrella. A total of 22 different rewards will be earnable, including the Mastery Reward Skin. For every sector you complete, you’ll unlock 60,000 pieces of candy towards the ‘King Sized Treat’ Reward.
Here are the sectors & what rewards you can earn from each:
SECTOR1:
- 300 Candy – 45MIN DOUBLE BATTLE PASS XP TOKEN
- 600 Candy – TREAT “CANDY BONUS”
- 900 Candy – “FOLLOW THE RULES OR DIE” EMBLEM
- 1,200 Candy – TRICK “TROLL MESSAGE”
- 1,500 Candy – TREAT “CANDY BONUS”
SECTOR 2
- 300 Candy – TRICK “TROLL MESSAGE”
- 600 Candy – “GIVE ME CANDY” LARGE DECAL
- 900 Candy – TRICK “TROLL MESSAGE”
- 1,200 Candy – “HALLOWEEN SPOILS” CAMO
- 1,500 Candy – TREAT “CANDY BONUS”
SECTOR 3
- 300 Candy – “JACK-O’-LANTERN” CHARM
- 600 Candy – TRICK “TROLL MESSAGE”
- 900 Candy – 1HR DOUBLE WEAPON XP TOKEN
- 1,200 Candy – TREAT “CANDY BONUS”
- 1,500 Candy – TRICK “TROLL MESSAGE”
SECTOR 4
- 250 Candy – TREAT “CANDY BONUS”
- 500 Candy – BATTLE PASS TIER SKIP TOKEN
- 750 Candy – TRICK “TROLL MESSAGE”
- 1,000 Candy – “TRICK ‘R TREAT” LOADING SCREEN
- 1,200 Candy – “HOLLIE-HO CHOCOLATE BAR” CALLING CARD
- 1,500 Candy – TREAT “CANDY BONUS”
“Treat” Rewards earned are extra candy bonuses that add towards your overall total earned.
“Trick” Rewards earned are little troll messages like “There are other maps besides Shipment”.
Note: If you equip the “Sam” or “Sam Unmasked” Operator from the ‘Trick ‘R Treat’ Sam Operator Bundle’, you’ll earn a 1.42 Extra Candy Multiplier within your games to help earn rewards faster.
MASTERY REWARDS
Upon completion of all four sectors, you’ll earn enough candy to unlock the “Blood Red Riding Hood” skin for the Banshee Operator. Will be available for use in Multiplayer, Zombies, & Warzone!
Note: If you equip the “Sam” or “Sam Unmasked” Operator from the ‘Trick ‘R Treat’ Sam Operator Bundle’, you’ll earn extra candy within your games to help earn rewards faster.
FASTEST WAY TO EARN CANDY
With the ‘Candy Event’, Purgatory has been noted as the fastest ways to earn candy. Plunder also works as a suitable mode to play & earn on.
Multiplayer
For every candy pickup you get in a game of Multiplayer, you’ll earn between 7 – 55 Pieces of Candy. Shipment is a solid map to earn candy on, given the large amount of kills you can earn.
Zombies
With Zombies, the earn rates will depend on the Threat Zone you’re in. Tier 1 pickups range between 2 – 35 Pieces of Candy. Tier 2 pickups will range between 6 – 40 Pieces of Candy. Tier 3 pickups range between 8 – 55 Pieces of Candy.
A solid trick is to use the Outlast contracts to farm candy. Get the meter to about 75-80%, gather a large horde of zombies, take them outside, & kill them. As the meter depletes, head back inside, fill the bar again, spawn more zombies, & repeat the cycle.
Warzone
For Warzone, Purgatory is the mode to play, & opening loot caches is the way. Loot Caches around the bone-chilling map seem to be the best & fastest route to earning candy, competing the sectors, & earning the King Sized Reward!
