Fortunes Keep was added back to the Resurgence rotation with the launch of MW3 & Warzone Season 2. The Fortunes Keep Warzone map released with several secret challenges and rewards on February 7th with Season Two. Players can expect better designed and rewarding quests than what we saw in the original Fortunes Keep, or quite frankly any Warzone map to date. Here’s every secret challenge and reward for the Season 2 Warzone map Fortunes Keep:
FREE QR CODE CALLING CARD
With the launch of Fortunes Keep Season 2, the message of the day at the Warzone menu provided players with a scannable QR code which unlocks the Chaos Maker Calling Card. We haven’t really seen many QR scan rewards in MW3, so this was certainly a nice change of pace for a free unlock.
FREE WEAPON DECAL
As teased in the 2024 Fortunes Keep trailer, a Secret vault Easter Egg is present in the new iteration of the map. Completing this quest will unlock a large weapon decal, and a room full of high tier loot which is valuable for endgame.
Here’s how to complete the Fortunes Keep Secret Vault Easter Egg:
THE THRONE ROOM
To start this Easter Egg, you’ll need to drop at the Keep POI and find the throne room located in the heart of the Keep. You’ll know you have the right room from the giant open design with a circular floor design and, obviously, the giant throne overlooking the door.
Approach one of the sides of the throne and interact with the torches on the wall. They will be lit; you’ll need to light both torches on each side of the throne (total of 2 torches in the Throne Room).
Once lit, jump on the throne and crouch. This will cue a noise and the floor design will start lowering into a staircase.
THE VAULT DOOR
Go downstairs through the newly opened staircase. Inside will be a room with a vault door in the center of the far wall. You will need to throw either a Molotov or a Thermite at the vault door. NOTE: There should be a Molotov or a Thermite in the room as ground loot, so if you don’t have one before you enter, don’t fret!
After throwing one of the items at the vault door, some of the small circles in the design of the door will light up fiery orange and some will stay dark. You will need to match the small circles on the door with the torches hanging on the walls around the room. If you need a way to remember them, think of it like this:
- Top 2 Small Circles on Vault Door = Two Torches Hanging Next to the Vault Door
- Follow the Torches around the room and match them with the Vault Door’s Small Circles going/looking in the clockwise direction
The small circles on the vault door that are lit up will correlate to the torches you’ll need to light around the room, and the small circles that are dark will correlate to the torches you’ll need to snuff around the room. If done correctly, the vault door will spew fire and open up! NOTE: If the small circles aren’t lit up after a while, you can re-light them by throwing another Molotov or Thermite at it!
THE VAULT ITSELF
The Vault will have tons of supply boxes, including favorite supply boxes that will grant you your favorited loadout weapons once opened. There is also a golden shotgun next to the door you can pick up and use if you wish!
NOTE: If you’re worried about encountering danger leaving the vault through the staircase; there’s a tunnel you can follow in the top right corner of the Vault Room. This path ONLY opens after the vault is unlocked, so you can leave away from prying eyes.
FREE UNIVERSAL CAMO
One of the coolest Easter Eggs Warzone has ever added is the Dragon Stirs quest on Fortunes Keep. This can be completed in just a matter of minutes with the correct map knowledge, which DETONATED covered on the launch of Season 2.
Completing Dragon Stirs will reward players with the Crimson Wyrm universal camo, and a beautiful firework show at the Keep point of interest.
THE LIGHTHOUSE
To start, you will need to drop at The Lighthouse and look at 5 different locations around The Lighthouse itself and find a gas can.
After you’ve found the gas can, go to the top of The Lighthouse. Once, up there, you need to use the gas can to refill the generator and the beam should light up.
You now need to align the beam at the top of the lighthouse towards a bird nest, located just to the left of the lighthouse point of interest, facing north west.
You can either mark where the beam needs to shine on the tac map, or have a teammate tell you when to interact with the machinery to stop the beaming light from rotating.
Once the beam has hit the birds nest, you need to find three lens located within tower viewers around the map. Performing a melee attack on the viewer will drop the lens which you’ll need to take to each bird’s nest. Players can choose to visit any bird nest in no particular order.
Every binocular and bird nest are highlighted in green and red respectively, below:
GROUND ZERO
Melee the site viewer and acquire the mystery item. Take the lens to the bird’s nest which will automatically share the reflection from the light house’s beam of light.
The player only has to interact with the bird’s nest once to complete the step.
WINERY
Melee the site viewer and acquire the mystery item. Take the lens to the bird’s nest which will automatically share the reflection from the light house’s beam of light.
The player only has to interact with the bird’s nest once to complete the step.
TERRACES
Melee the site viewer and acquire the mystery item. Take the lens to the bird’s nest which will automatically share the reflection from the light house’s beam of light.
The player only has to interact with the bird’s nest once to complete the step.
KEEP FIREWORKS & FREE CAMO
Finally, after all three lens have been placed at their respective bird nests, a firework show will begin at the Keep point of interest!
Once you’ve gotten all three, you will get a pop up stating to the lobby that you completed the quest and the Keep will explode with a cool fireworks show!
Once you complete this quest, in the extras category in camos will be the FREE camo reward!
FREE ANIMATED CALLING CARD
The more RNG heavy Easter Egg on Fortunes Keep revolves around the Town point of interest, and specifically the bank. Completing this simple quest will reward players with an animated calling card, and the feeling that they were playing Payday.
Locating 3 Electric Drills
Players familiar with DMZ will notice similar looking electric drills which can only be found in the Town point of interest on Fortunes Keep. There’s a rotation of fixed spawn locations, which thankfully aren’t far from one another.
Only three drills will spawn in the town, which is the number needed to fully complete the quest and unlock the calling card. A map guide of all electric drill spawn locations can be found on WarzoneTacMap.
Unlocking The Bank’s Secret Room
After going upstairs in the bank, players will notice a locked door which can only be opened by clicking a red button underneath a desk just a few feet away. Unlocking this room sadly sets off an alarm, which may alert nearby players.
It’s recommended that you unlock the secret room after acquiring all three electric drills, just to avoid any trouble.
Open Three Safety Deposit Boxes
While it is possible to drill a single safety deposit box to collect free loot, you must open all three safety deposit boxes to unlock the animated security boxes Calling Card. This bank Easter Egg could serve as an easy way to get cash, killstreaks, weapons or equipment during times of need, if you can find an electric drill.
This quest can be done in a matter of minutes, especially if you play with multiple players who drop at different electric drill locations.
FREE HAZARD ROOM EMBLEM
Finally, inside the Ground Zero PO on Fortune’s Keep will be a secret lab you can traverse. Players can also access this secret lab from underneath the Graveyard.
Finding The Hazard Room
Hidden in the lab is a small doorway you can enter, labeled Sec B, which will bring players to a flooded room with electrical danger.
Once inside, you have to parkour your way to three switches which you have to flip within 10 seconds. The water below will be electrified before you flip the switches, so don’t jump in!
After you successfully flipped the switches, the water will de-electrify and you need to jump in and swim through a tunnel to enter a secret room.
In the secret room, you will be granted with loot as well as a high chance of finding a FREE Ray Gun on the table! You’ll instantly unlock the Hazard Room emblem as well.
FREE REIGN DROPS POWERUP
At the winery point of interest, players can do the “Zarkour” Easter Egg, which requires parkour through various checkpoints. Although previously bugged, the Zarkour quest grants players with zombie power ups depending on how quick they navigated to each checkpoint.

Collect Zombie Power Ups
Upon reaching the final checkpoint and depending on fast you completed the quest, you’ll get a number of Zombie powerups which can range from:
- Double Points: 60-second duration. Doubles Plunder from ground loot and kills, and score events in Resurgence (that contribute to teammate respawn timers).
- Full Armor: Instant buff. Fully fills your active Armor slots on pickup.
- Max Ammo: Instant buff. Fully fills ammo for all your carried weapons on pickup.
- Fire Sale: 90-second duration. Reduces the price of all shop items for a small duration of time.
- Looting Spree: 60-second duration. Adds bonus items to caches, with a very high chance of a bonus Common item, and a small but significant chance of an additional Legendary item.
- Zarkour: 60-second duration. Increases movement speed by around 10%, with infinite Tactical Sprint and Reloading while Sprinting, and disables Fall Damage.
- Undead Sight: 45-second duration. Operators or AI enemies within the range of your vision are highlighted red and friendly squadmates are blue. Tracker footsteps are active.
FREE CURSED SKULL CHEST
Located at the overlook tower, a secret destructible room is protecting a cursed skull. Upon clearing through the debris with an explosive, players will be warned NOT to touch the cursed skull, but that won’t stop a Warzone player.
Getting Teleported With The Skull
Upon grabbing the cursed skull, you’ll be redeployed into the air and won’t be able to parachute. Don’t worry though, as the fall won’t damage you. Consider this a troll!
Get 5 Kills With The Cursed Skull
The goal when in possession of the cursed skull is to get five kills. If a player were to die after getting a few kills, the person who picks up the skull will be able to continue wherever the original player left off. Please note that whoever holds the cursed skull will be marked on the tac map.
Breaking The Curse
After getting 5 kills while holding the cursed skull, a reward cache will be marked with a skull on the map. Inside you’ll find various high tier loot and even the chance of a wonder weapon. At this point, you’ve successfully completed the cursed skull Easter Egg!
MASTERY BLUEPRINT UNLOCK
Anyone who completes all 7 Fortunes Keep Easter Eggs will unlock a mastery blueprint for the new SOA Subverter Battlerifle known as Regal.
If players had already completed the six quests mentioned above prior to Season 2 Reloaded, then there’s only one quest left to complete:
RESEARCH VESSEL LOCKED ARMORY
HOW TO FIND THE RESEARCH VESSEL (MOBILE POI)
Upon spawning into a match of Fortunes Keep, the new Research vessel will be in a random location around the island. The new mobile point of interest is a common hot drop, considering it’s a new area to explore in Season 2 Reloaded.
The research vessel moves around the entire island throughout the duration of the match until it finally docks in place momentarily.
OPENING THE SECRET LOCKED ARMORY
Players will need to find a mysterious keycard that can be found in several locations within the mobile fortress. Luckily, the area where the keycard spawns is relatively small, and all spawns are within an easy reach of one another.
Thus far, only four keycard spawns have been found, and only one will spawn per game. Be cautious of enemies who may try to steal them on the research vessel! All keycards will spawn in the bottom level of the vessel.
The locked armory can be found on the top level of the research vessel, near the end of the front of the ship itself. Once a keycard is used, players can enter and find high valuable loot, such as personal supply boxes, maxed out weapons, gas masks, self revives and more.
If a player had previously completed the 6 Fortunes Keep Easter Eggs that released during the launch of Season 2, which can still be completed now, then they’ll be awarded with a Mastery blueprint unlock for entering the locked armory.
Additionally, players will receive a free charm called lil’ skipper for having opened the locked armory at least once.
Completing all seven Fortunes Keep Easter eggs, which now includes the research vessel’s locked armory, will reward players the Regal blueprint for SOA Subverter, which is for the brand new Battle Rifle.
