All Secret Challenges & Rewards in Season 4

If the ‘Assault on Vondel’ event wasn’t enough, there’s even more free rewards to unlock.

Bonus Unlocks Beyond ‘Assault on Vondel’ Event

Following the launch of Season 4, the community accidently came across a series of challenges that we’re not marketed or listed with the Assault on Vondel event. These rewards can only be unlocked by playing Vondel, and can be done in either Resurgence or DMZ. It’s unclear how many secret challenges have been added, or whether this is the total amount, but these are the challenges found thus far:

• Get a Kill Underwater – Unlocks a Weapon Charm
• Perform a Finishing Move – Unlocks an Exclusive Finisher
• Win a Match of Vondel Resurgence – Unlocks a Sticker & Emblem
• Get 25 Melee Kills – Unlocks a Blueprint For The Tonfa Melee Weapon

Challenge Event Expansion During Mid Season

The recent Battlepass blogpost confirmed a bonus sector being added to the pass during Season 4 Reloaded. This would mark the first time we’ve seen an additional sector or set of tiers added to a Call of Duty battlepass, but it’s been speculated the secret challenges may have actually been apart of that sector, but we’re released early by mistake. This is what Infinity Ward had to say about the event expansion

Following the Assault on Vondel, a new Sector of the Battle Pass AO is set to open to everyone at mid-season. Anyone can be rewarded for their efforts — specifically, a new [[REDACTED]] and other items — by playing the game and using their Battle Pass progress toward this new Sector.

There’s a FIRST for Everything…

The ability to gain early access to the Tonfa melee weapon also marks the first time players are able to unlock a blueprint for a new DLC weapon, before having the ability to unlock the base version, without spending a dime. Previously, fans rejoiced against Season 2’s Path of The Ronin event for making us wait several weeks before new community challenges got added, allowing us to unlock the Crossbow. In Season 4, fans don’t have to wait until the end of ‘STAGE 1’ for assault on vondel to unlock the Tonfa, but can unlock a blueprint for it before getting the base version in a few weeks. Players can still level up and equip camos on the Lion’s Share blueprint of the Tonfa.
