Season 4 of Modern Warfare 3 is here and with it comes a BRAND NEW DNA themed event! Modern Warfare III’s Season 4 is a DNA themed event through and through, and the first event for MWIII Season 4 is following the same theme! Today, we’ll tell you all about this new Critical Countdown Event including all the challenges and rewards for MW3 Season 4! Here’s what you need to know:
EVENT TAB & REWARDS
Here’s what the Critical Countdown Event Tab looks like! You will need to kill enemy operators or Ai in either Multiplayer, Warzone, or Zombies! Critical Countdown will be active from May 29th until Season 4 Reloaded on June 26th
In order to earn rewards, you will need to kill enemy operators and collect their DNA samples to earn rewards. They also don’t allow players to fully complete the event off the bat by locking two of the sections of the event; meaning you can’t earn all rewards until later. Here’s what you can earn from all DNA samples:
ADE DNA REWARDS
- 390 Strands – 15Min Double XP Token
- 780 Strands – 15Min Double Weapon XP Token
- 1560 Strands – 15Min Double Battle Pass XP Token
- 3125 Strands – 30Min Double XP Token
- 6250 Strands – 30Min Double Weapon XP Token
- 12500 Strands – 1 Hour Double Battle Pass XP Token
CYTO DNA REWARDS
- 1560 Strands – Security Clearance Calling Card
- 3125 Strands – Safety First Emblem
- 6250 Strands – Just A Spill Weapon Sticker
- 12500 Strands – 30Min Double Weapon XP Token

- 2340 Strands – Mission Debrief Weapon Sticker
- 4675 Strands – 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token
- 9350 Strands – 1 Battle Token Tier Skip

MASTERY REWARDS
If you complete every section of the Critical Countdown Event, you will earn the “World Ender” Blueprint for the FR 5.56 Assault Rifle.
FAST DNA SAMPLES FARMING STRAT
In order to collect DNA samples the fastest, players should jump into fast paced matches of Multiplayer or open up as many chests as they can while completing activities in Rebirth Island. There doesn’t seem to be a cap on how many DNA samples can be collected in a single match.
Going to higher threat zones in Zombies will also allow players to find higher tier enemies which have the most DNA samples. With the limited time you can be in a match of MWZ, it may be faster to continue hopping lobbies in Multiplayer or Rebirth.
