Modern Warfare 4 is launching with over 20 weapons, 500 attachments and a new system called Apex attachments which fully transform weapons. Infinity Ward is also remastering several classic weapons from previous Modern Warfare titles which will be available day 1. An early preview of the MW4 arsenal was available at recent pre brief event in Los Angeles. Here’s every brand new weapon, apex attachment and piece of equipment coming to MW4.
MW4 Create a Class Explained
The gunsmith returns in Modern Warfare 4, but does not include weapon platforms or weapon tuning that were last seen in Modern Warfare II. Infinity Ward has polished the existing gunsmith system, allowing for shared attachments and even weapon build sharing. Gunny is also a new loadout randomizer, allowing for players to cycle through random classes based on their unlocks.
Operators and Killstreaks are also unique to each loadout, allowing for easy transitions between classes.
Weapon prestige returns with upwards of 50-70 levels per gun and a total of two prestiges per gun. Hitting max level on a weapon unlocks its Apex attachment, effectively a replacement for the prestige attachments seen in Black Ops 7.
