MODERN WARFARE 3 MULTIPLAYER: MOVEMENT OVERHAUL, NEW FEATURES, AND MAPS REVEALED!

Modern Warfare 3’s Reveal Event brought us TONS of info on MW3’s Multiplayer. Modern Warfare III seems to be the game fans of the franchise have been asking for. Get ready for MWIII MP. Here’s what you need to know:

ALL THE MAPS COMING AT LAUNCH

Sledgehammer pulled out all the stops for MW3’s maps.

Every, single, map from the original MW2 (2009) will be in Multiplayer at LAUNCH.

On top of this, for fans of the much bigger maps, we will get 3 Battle Maps, AND a COLOSSAL “War” Map (the returning gamemode from Call of Duty: WWII)!

GAMEPLAY AND MOVEMENT CHANGES

They really wanted to cater to everyone with new and returning gameplay mechanics!

  • Tac-Stance (similar to the lean from Rainbow Six Siege)!
  • New Gear Options: Gloves, Vests, Boots, and More! (New Perk System!)
  • After-Market Parts for new customization, progression, and challenges!
  • Slide Canceling is back, but will no longer reset Tac-Sprint (great balancing option)!
  • Reload Canceling is back!
  • Faster mantling as well as being able to mantle while sprinting!
  • Longer Tac-Sprint that recharges with normal sprint!

They really listened to the community with these changes! Absolutely fantastic feedback!

MP FEATURES

All of those hardcore fans of Call of Duty will love this section:

  • Map Voting is BACK! (No word on if lobbies disband, but there’s hope for it!)
  • Classic Minimap is BACK! (Red dots show up on the minimap when enemies shoot unsuppressed weapons!)
  • Perks are available AT THE START of the match!
  • Dead Silence is back AS A PERK! (Covert Sneakers Gear!)
  • Core Health is now 150!
  • Hardcore will be a gamemode! (Not Tier-1 like MWII!)
