If Terminus & Liberty Falls are anything to go off of, we should expect tons of side Easter Eggs to be discovered alongside the main Easter Egg here in Citadelle Des Morts. Today, we’re going to be covering ALL of the side easter eggs discovered & how to complete them. Ready to learn more? Here’s what you need to know:
Free Power Ups
Max Ammo
In an upper window to the right of Speed Cola, you can spot a mini Max Ammo. Shooting it will spawn a free Max Ammo power up.
Max Armor
If you head into the Juggernog room, face the entrance, & look up at the ceiling, you’ll find a mini Max Armor. Shoot it & earn a free Max Armor power up.
Double Points
There’s a window barrier in Alchemy Room. This window is to the left of the tablet on the floor with the elemental symbols. Look in the window & into the room on the left.
On a shelf will be a mini Double Points. Shooting it will reward you with a free Double Points power up.
Bonus Points
In the Undercroft, look behind the orange couch & you will find a mini Bonus Points. Shoot it for a free Bonus Points power up.
Nuke
On the roof of the tower Elemental Pop is in, you can find a mini Nuke. Shoot it & you’ll earn a free Nuke power up. *A sniper may be best to spot this one.
Music Easter Egg
Look for the 3 Mr. Peeks headphones scattered around the map. Here are the locations:
- On a table within the Tavern.
- Heading down towards the well from the Castle. It’ll be on the right side of the trap.
- The Final is located down in the crypt located near the couch, & semi under the table.
Activating all these headphones will play the song “Slave” by Kevin Sherwood.
Maya Takes Revenge
If you’re playing as Maya, head into the sword room & make your way up the staircase leading to Vulture Aid. There will radio on a table next to a door.
Interacting with this radio will trigger a conversation between Maya (disguising as one of Franco’s goons) & the man Franco himself. Once the dialogue ends, the door will unlock & you can enter. Make your way through the corridor & fight off the Vermin that spawn in. Do be aware, it’s quite the amount that spawn.
There will also be a regular Doppelghast & a beefed up Doppelghast you’ll have to defeat. Defeating the mini boss Doppelghast will give you a key. This key unlock the door to where Franco is hiding.
cutscene will play & afterwards, you’ll be rewarded with a Legendary Rarity Pistol, some essence, & salvage.
Free Perk
If you’re looking for a free perk Easter egg, check this out. Make your way through the Main Quest until you reach the Rune Wall step (with the magic book).
Go ahead & use all 4 of the incantations on the Rune Wall. This will trigger a lockdown. Completion of this lockdown will award players with a free perk!
Mr. Peeks Free Perk
For a second free perk, you’ll want to find 4 Mr. Peeks scattered around the map. Shoot each one of them in a specific order. Here are the 4 locations & the order to shoot them in:
- 1. Head into the Elemental Pop room & look out a Metal Grate in the wall across from the perk machine. You’ll spot a floating Mr. Peeks. Shoot him & he’ll disappear.
- 2. The next Mr. Peeks can be located in the barn area. Look out the hole in the upper right corner of the room, to the right of the box spawn. He’ll be on a corner cliff in the distance. Shoot him.
- Mr. Peeks will next be found from the Dining Hall. Look towards the tall towers. You’ll spot him on a perch of the towers. You will need a sniper to spot this one.
- The final Mr. Peeks will be down in the dungeon. You can find him locked in a jail cell, chained up. Shoot him, & you’ll receive your free random perk.
PHD in Bartending
Want a free can of PHD Flopper, while also fulfilling your dream of being a bartender? Here’s an Easter egg you might like.
You’ll first want to find 3 alcohol bottles that lay around the map. Here are the 3 locations:
- One is located on a shelf across from Stamina Up. Check the very bottom shelf.
- One is in the Undercroft, in close proximity to the Mr. Peeks headphones.
- Another location is near the red couch in the Knight Statue room.
Bring all of these bottles back to the Tavern & interact with the black server tray. This will be located on the bar countertop.
You’ll then want to serve Zombies drinks! More specifically, the same color drinks they desire. After doing this for a while, you’ll be rewarded with a free PHD Perk.
The Ally of Fire
There are 4 fireplaces around the map you can ignite. Three are within close proximity to the each other & the other is quite the distance away. Here are the four locations of these fireplaces:
- One is located to the left of Stamina Up
- The next is located to the left of the Arsenal in the Alchemy Area
- The third is located in the Sword room, directly underneath the Vulture Aid Machine
- The forth & final one is located in the Tavern.
You only have a short window frame to light all of the fires. If you fail to do so, you can try again in another few rounds. These fires can be lit either with the fire sword, or using Molotovs.
Successful completion of this will cause orbs of fire to leave the fireplace & attack zombies or other enemies. It seems to only last 1 round, as after that, the fire stops emitting the orbs.
Rat King
Make your way over to a window in spawn that has cheese wheels. The window is to the right of the Tavern, next to the staircase going down. Grab a cheese wheel to begin the quest.
Your next goal is to find & scare away 10 rats around the map by lying prone in front of them. Here are the locations:
- To the left of spawn before you go through the buyable door, hidden under a plant.
- To the right of spawn through the buyable door, & straight ahead. Look under the van & burning debris.
- Near rhe Deadshot Daiquiri Machine, there’s a huge rock in the center of the map. A hole is in the bottom where zombies can spawn from, the next rat is hidden out right there.
- The next is hidden under the staircase leading up to the Cannon. Look under the stairs to the Cannons left side.
- You’ll find another hidden in the Juggernog room. Walk past it & to the right under the platform. The rat will be hidden under some chairs to the right.
- Another can be found in the statue room. The statue closest the to room entrance on the left. Check under the pallet located on side the statue.
- Head into the alchemy room & look behind the tablet that has the glowing symbols. You’ll find another Rat.
- Make your way into the room with Stamina up. To the left is a bunk bed & a table. Under that table is a rat.
- Next you’ll want to make your way into the dungeon. There’s a rat inside the jail cell to the right of Quick Revive.
- Go straight from the Pack a Punch room into the Undercroft. If you head straight forward, you will find a hole zombies spawn from. Another rat hides in front of it.
After scaring all 10 rats, head back into the Pack A Punch Room. There’s an insert on the ground to the left of the Level Three Armor wall buy. Place the cheese wheel on the ground, & the 10 rats will emerge to eat the cheese.
Completing this can reward you with Essence, an ammo mod, scorestreaks, & even a purple rarity weapon. You will also receive the Rat King Crown. It’s unknown at this time what the crown does or grants.
Chess Protector
Imagine spawning in a literal chess piece to stomp on hordes of zombies. To activate this, you’ll need to find a singular chess piece. There are 4 known spawn locations at the moment. Here are the locations:
- The first location is near the dragon statue that upgrades your sword. Head into the hallway to the right & look on the table immediately to your right.
- Another spawn is in the room with Elemental Pop. It will be on that table in the center of the room.
- The downstairs area of the Tavern may have one. Check on the shelf to the left of the Portal.
- The final possible spawn point can be in the Quick Revive room. The table or shelves directly in front of the perk machine will hold the last possible chess piece spawn.
Take this chess piece & head to the Stamina Up room. Interact with the Chess Board on the table in the center of the room. Place this chess piece onto the board & you’ll begin a soul box.
Kill zombies until the soul box is finished. Then you will be able to summon your Chess Piece protector. This ally will last a number of rounds & can be pretty useful during the boss fight.
The Wishing Well
Cast your points & make a wish.
During a Vermin round, throw grenades into the well. Eventually points will pop out of the well. Make use of the the 1,000 points that it dispenses.
Wait till the next Vermin round & you can then deposit up to 10,000 points into the well. It’s sort of like a bank.
During the next Vermin round, you can then gather those points back by throwing another grenade into the well. Play it smart with a Double points & you can earn back 20,000 points rather than 10,000. Or, if you’re playing with friends, you can donate the points to them.
Pool Table
On the second floor of the Tavern will be a pool table. Shooting it will cause the balls to fall into the pockets on the table. This awards a free 100 Essence.
