Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is bringing the heat when it comes to Weapon Prestige & Camo unlocks! Players will have more than enough options for customizations once BO7 releases on November 14th. From brand new camos to returning BO2 Classic Camos, there will be a fantastical selection to choose from for weapon customization. Today, we’re going to take a look at all known & shown prestige camos coming in Black Ops 7, as well as a quick recap on the weapon prestige system. Here’s what you need to know:
How the Weapon Prestige System Works in Black Ops 7
The Weapon prestige system returns, not seen since Black Ops 4. You’ll be able to reach a weapons max level, & enter prestige two separate times. Every prestige tier grants rewards such as attachments & camos. What’s great is that with the shared progression system, you can level up your weapons in any game mode (Campaign, Zombies, Multiplayer, or Warzone). There are multiple levels to weapon prestige, so let’s take a quick look at each:
Weapon Prestige 1
After reaching the max level 50 on your weapon, you’ll be able to enter the first tier of weapon prestige. Entering the first prestige for your weapon will relock all attachment unlocks (except optics), & reset the weapon level back to one. Prestiging will provide you a weapon exclusive prestige attachment, brand new universal camo, and a prestige build for the weapon. You’ll also be able to permanently unlock an attachment for your weapon.
Solid color weapon camos are what players can expect once they prestige their weapon the first time. Solid red, blue, yellow, green, etc. These camos will be universal & able to be applied on any weapon.
Weapon Prestige 2
Just like prestige 1, you’ll be able to reach max rank on your weapon again & enter into prestige 2. This will reset your weapon & attachments back to square one (except optics & permanently unlocked attachment). Prestige 2 offers basically the same rewards as prestige 1, however you’ll also be granted a weapon exclusive – weapon charm. This also means you’ll be able to permanently unlock another attachment for your weapon. A second special weapon camo will be unlocked to apply to any of your weapons going forward. Likely to be another solid color camo, maybe with some pattern variations.
Weapon Prestige Master
Once your weapon reaches level 50 while in prestige 2, you’ll automatically begin your grind to reach prestige master at weapon level 250. After reaching this stage, all of your attachments will be permanently unlocked, & your weapon won’t reset back to level one. You can expect camo rewards along with XP rewards as you reach weapon level milestones like 100, 150, & 200. Once you reach weapon max level 250, that’s when you unlock the final showcase camo. These camos are expected to be returning & remastered fan favorite BO2 camos.

While bacon wasn’t shown, it was confirmed during COD NEXT to be returning as a prestige camo reward.

There are various new camos (both static & aninated) shown off that at this time are unknown to be master prestige unlocks, or various ones throughout the prestige grind.
