With April 20th around the corner, Call of Duty fans have come to expect 4/20 themed cosmetics, LTMs, variations to be released across all modes. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone are no exception to this pattern. Today, we’re looking at everything themed around 4/20 coming to BO6 & Warzone. Here’s what you need to know:
Black Ops 6 4/20 Event Release Date
The 4/20 Event Update in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 should be releasing with Season 3 Reloaded on April 24th or May 1st. This will mean all of the 4/20 Content in BO6 and Warzone will be releasing Days AFTER April 20th. This is most likely due to the Season 3 Delay from March 20th, to April 2nd, 2025, pushing back the content schedule by a few weeks.
Joint Operations (Multiplayer)
Five core multiplayer game modes will receive variants through the ‘Joint Operations’ LTM Playlist. As a match progresses, it will cycle between five different modes, & four different in-game effects. The modes you’ll cycle through include:
- Very High Target
- HVT
- Inhalation
- Domination
- Hotbox
- Hardpoint
- Head Stash
- TDM
- Munchies
- Kill Confirmed
The various effects you will see in-game will include:
- 3rd-Person POV
- Double Health
- Visual Hallucinations
- Low Gravity
Zombie Snacks (Zombies)
Not too much is known about this LTM, but what few details we have, this is how the mode’s supposed to work:
- Energy will replace health but can be depleted by moving.
- Zombies will drop energy boosts.
- Avoiding damage allows a player to enter a flow state which provides benefits for as long as the player doesn’t get hit.

High Trip (Warzone)
The LTM ‘High Trip’ will be headed to a Warzone near you soon. Players will likely see it play similarly to Resurgence. Gameplay boosts will give you the edge over your opponents, while leaving them in ashes. Be on the listen for the special announcer in the mode as well.
Classic Map Variation
Blazetown – Map (Multiplayer)
Nuketown is getting reskinned with the new ‘Blazetown’ variant. This will likely release in Season 3 Reloaded alongside the ‘Joint Operations’ LTM in Multiplayer.
Blaze of Glory Event
Set later to release Mid-Season, the ‘Blaze of Glory’ challenge event will bring plenty of new & out of this world rewards for players to enjoy. Aside from plenty of challenges to complete, not much else is known about this event yet. Stay tuned with the release of Season 3 Reloaded!
Bundles
There are a few bundles releasing themed around the 4/20 content, including the ‘Hydroponic’ Bundle, ‘Silent Jay & Bob’ Bundle, as well as the ‘Bluntman & Chronic’ Bundle. Let’s take a quick look at these:
Hydroponic – Mastercraft/Ultra/Tracer Pack
