All Black Ops 6 Remastered Multiplayer Maps Showcase Gameplay

Black Ops 6 is reportedly releasing with the usual remake of Nuketown, but that’s not to say we aren’t getting other reimagined maps shortly after. Several remastered Multiplayer maps have been datemined by the usual leakers, while a few points of interest in an upcoming Warzone map also include several Black Ops fan favorites. Here’s every Black Ops 6 remastered map that’s been found thus far!

BLACK OPS 6 BETA BUILD LEAKS, POSSIBLE REMASTERED MULTIPLAYER MAPS LEAKED

With the recent Black Ops 6 beta leak, everything about the build has leaked, even including content not available to the player during the beta & only coming with the full launch of the game. It’s to be noted that any of the maps covered today are not confirmed to be returning. They are leaked, meaning they could be scrapped, be a developer map used for testing, or be a map for a future season of Black Ops 6.

  • WMD

While not being directly playable in the beta of Black Ops 6, WMD is located in the gamefiles of Black Ops 6 referred to as “Russian Base”, and it’s codename has always been this since Black Ops Whether it’s the same version as Cold War or a new layout from previously is known.
  • Hacienda

Previously seen in Black Ops 4 and COD Mobile, this map is rumoured to be returning to Black Ops 6, Hacienda has two variants, it’s normal daytime variant, and an alternate weather variant set at night-time, it’s unclear if both will be featured or just one.
    ⠀
  • Firing Range (2)?

Featured in Black Ops 1,2 & leaked to release but never did in CW, Firing Range is rumoured to be returning in Black Ops 6, however it’s referred to as Firing Range 2, whether this is just a codename or if it means the map was reimagined is unknown.
  • Yemen

Based on the real life location of Yemen and ONLY seen in 2012, this could be a map that helps bridge the gap between the past campaign missions of Black Ops 2 with the 90s era in Black Ops 6. Yemen also played a role in the gulf war

  • Fringe

Set in Black Ops 3, this map is surprisingly set to release in Black Ops 6. This would make it the first jetpack era map to be released in a boots-on-the-ground game. Just like Hacienda, Fringe also has it’s normal, and an alternate version part of the Back in Black update, unknown if this will be released.
    ⠀
  • Nuketown

A fan favorite and classic of the Black Ops franchise, Nuketown. This map is less of a leak and is pretty much confirmed to be released at some point during Black Ops 6’s lifecycle. Not only can it be found in the gamefiles, but it can be seen in a “match loading” screen of the Black Ops 6 reveal trailer. Throughout each Nuketown version, it featured it’s own theme/aesthetic relevant to the time period, so we can most definitely see a new fresh look to the BO6 version.

POSSIBLE MULTIPLAYER MAPS PART OF TREYARCHS ‘AVALON’ MAP?

With these following maps, these are not individual maps found in Black Ops 6 multiplayer menu or files, but part of Treyarch’s rumoured ‘Avalon’ map set to release in Fall of 2025. Leakers have managed to force load an early version of this Warzone map into the game and few POI’s can be found that are from old maps in Call of Duty. These could also be ported as multiplayer maps later in BO6’s lifecycle, but it’s currently unknown.

  • Dig

Dig, a multiplayer map from Black Ops 2, also a remaster of the World at War map ‘Courtyard’, is set to be featured on the Avalon map. Just like any of these 5 maps in this section, these maps could be turned into traditional 6v6 maps for Multiplayer, later in BO6’s lifecycle.
    ⠀
  • Detour

Yet another classic map rumoured to be on the ‘Avalon’ map, Detour from Black Ops 2, which was released as part of DLC in Black Ops 2.
    ⠀
  • Hazard

An unappreciated and underrated map from Black Ops 1, Hazard. This map takes place on a golf course.
    ⠀
  • Outskirts & Bonzai

Last but not least, we have Outskirts & Bonzai. Another two maps found on the Avalon map, and both first seen in World at War. These maps were also then completely remade in the form of ‘Rupture’ and ‘Verge’ in Black Ops 3.

THE END

That’s the end of this article! What do you think about the rumoured maps returning to Black Ops 6 in new ways? A common and appreciated theme of this list of maps seems to be Treyarch taking unappreciated maps and fan favorite classics and giving them a fresh coat of paint for ‘Avalon’, and possibly for traditional 6v6 multiplayer maps in the future.
