Modern Warfare 3’s Beta showed us our first look at some of the operators featured within MW3. At first, we thought the roster would be small, but with a new Modern Warfare III blog post that released on Halloween, we know about all of the operators coming to MWIII along with where to unlock them. Here’s what you need to know:
OPERATOR UNLOCK CHALLENGES
As per usual these last few releases; enable to unlock all operators, you must complete certain challenges in different gamemodes on MW3:
SPECGRU OPERATORS (13)
- Price: Nemesis Reactive Skin available via MWIII Vault Edition purchase.
- Ghost: Nemesis Reactive Skin available via MWIII Vault Edition purchase.
- Blueprint (Mil-Sim): Immediate unlock.
- Rocket (Mil-Sim): Immediate unlock.
- Byline: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- Scorch: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Modern Warfare Zombies.
- Ripper: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Modern Warfare Zombies.
- Pathfinder: Unlocked after completing a Campaign Challenge.
- Warrior: Available after purchasing the Call of Duty Endowment “Warrior” Pack, available November 10.
- Riptide: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- BBQ: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- Jabber: Unlocked after completing a Campaign Challenge.
- Jet: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
KORTAC OPERATORS (12)
- Warden: Operator (Nemesis Reactive Skin) available via MWIII Vault Edition purchase.
- Makarov: Operator (Nemesis Reactive Skin) available via MWIII Vault Edition purchase.
- Blaze (Mil-Sim): Immediate unlock.
- Thirst (Mil-Sim): Immediate unlock.
- Alpine: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- Enigma: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- Bantam: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- Doc: Unlocked after completing a Campaign Challenge.
- Raptor: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- Corso: Unlocked after completing a Campaign Challenge.
- Swagger: Unlocked after completing a challenge in Multiplayer.
- Lockpick: Available on PlayStation only, when preordering the Digital Standard or Vault Edition.
Below is the challenges found in the files of the Beta for some of the above listed operators. NOTE: Not all operators are listed below. We will update this article whenever each challenge is discovered!
MULTIPLAYER CHALLENGES
- BBQ – Kill 1 enemy operator affected by your Tactical Grenade in a single multiplayer match
- BYLINE – Get 3 hipfire kills with SMGs in a single multiplayer match
- JET – Get 5 kills with Sniper Rifles in a single multiplayer match
- ALPINE – Get 3 kills while crouching in a single multiplayer match
- WHISKEY – Execute a finishing move in a multiplayer match
- RAPTOR – Get 2 kills with Frag Grenades in a single multiplayer match
- ENIGMA – Get 3 kills while aiming down sights in a single multiplayer match
- SWAGGER – Get 10 kills with LMGs in a single multiplayer match
- RIPTIDE – Get 1 kill with a Cruise Missile in a single multiplayer match
ZOMBIES CHALLENGES
- RIPPER – Get [CLASSIFIED] kills in MWZ
- SCORCH – Complete [CLASSIFIED] contracts in MWZ.
For the Zombies challenges: It’s unclear if we need to accumulate kills, kill special zombies, complete basic contracts, or quest-related contracts, but either way, there’s not many operators exclusive to Zombies challenges.
THE END
Remember that EVERY MWII Operator will transfer over to MWIII at launch, so even if some of these challenges seem hard for you, you’ll be able to use your favorite operator while you pursue the challenge!
